This is a pre-shampoo treatment, but I love what it does for my grays. Easy to use, I use it once a week and then shampoo again after. My grays don't look as gray after. Nice formula doesn't weigh hair down, either. I recommend it if you're attempting to go natural.
I've tried other shampoos for silver and gray and Maison 276 has proven to be the best for me! It left my hair silky soft and no yellow tones. I don't have any types of chemicals in my hair. I just do the Maison 276 3 step shampoo process, blow dry, flat iron and my hair turns out with shimmery shiny silver hair with plenty of bouncing body.
I have been blonde (via hairstylists magic) my whole life and they always tell you to use purple or blue shampoo/conditioner to brighten up your color. This works so much better than those!! Try it!
I have only used the clarify once, but I have used the shampoo and conditioner about three times and I love it! It makes my hair so shiny and silky. I noticed today in the sun my hair literally sparkled.
Was skeptical about living up to reviews. Somehow exceeded my expectations! Can delay getting hair colored for another month. Soft and fluffy. V pleased!
It all great
I've don't shampoo my hair often (once or twice a month), but I do apply moisturizer as needed. I'd begun thinking that all of my hair (black with about 45% grey) was going to go grey suddenly because it still looked dull and unwashed after careful shampooing %26 conditioning. It was suggested that I try a "clarifying" treatment. I tried the Maison Pre-Shampoo because it is NOT "purple". [The purple reminds me of when my grandmother would get a "blue" treatment for her greying hair. It was pretty, but blue.] I wear my hair very short, so applying and rinsing out this product was quick and easy for me. I was MOST surprised and pleased that the grayish build up on my hair was removed with one treatment! Things to consider: 1) this is a lotion, not shampoo so don't keep applying it, trying to work up a lather (I did); 2) it's expensive, but "clarifying" is not necessary with every shampoo (so the product will last for a while); 3) some reviewers liked the scent, to me it was neutral--maybe the natural scent of the ingredients. I gave lower than 5 stars on all categories except "Quality" because it worked well. For that reason, I would recommend this product.
This shampoo and conditioner is not worth the high price. There are other brands that are just as good at lower price points.
While this is a pre shampoo treatment I am not understanding why there is no lather or scent to this product. It almost feels like it does not matter whether or not you use it prior to actually using the step 2 of shampooing.
I have only used once. Did not see a change in color. I am planning to use again. Maybe better results???
