Maker's Mark Straight Bourbon, 375 ml Bottle, 45% ABV

I'm no whisky expert, but this is my take on Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky. I tried to drink it neat and it was too strong for me to enjoy, I needed plenty of ice and a little water. What I really enjoyed was using this bourbon whisky with a mixer and in cocktails. There are some great cocktail recipes on the Marker's Mark website to try. I liked the Maker's Maple Old Fashioned using maple syrup and the Maker's & Ginger as pictured.

My husband and I have gotten into cocktail making since lockdown started last March, one of our favourite cocktails is an old fashioned. Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is the perfect whisky for this classic cocktail. With its mellow and smooth taste, It's a great whisky for experimenting with cocktail making!

I was thrilled to receive this product and was throughly surprised by just how beautiful it was. I have been drinking whisky all my life and in the last few years I have moved over to bourbon. It's rich, full flavoured and smooth and I enjoyed every drop. I would highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely be buying myself some more!!!

I tried this for myself and I shared with friends of mine and they really enjoyed the whisky they tried from me sharing it also I tried it with ginger ale and ice . I also tried it neat aswell I have to say it was great the both ways I have tried it great taste to it . And I really enjoyed this whisky it was a great campaign for myself and others

Myself and my husband really enjoyed this bourbon. It is very smooth and sweet, and easy to drink. I am not usually a big whiskey drinker but was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed this both on the rocks and mixed into a whiskey sour. It was a wonderful lockdown treat after a long day! I would buy this again and would recommend this brand.

Omg so not usually a massive fan of whiskey but this just wow from the presentation of the bottle (love the Reed wax didn't want to open it at first) then got some ice and poured a neat whiskey aftertaste a hard days work at the hospital I work at. It goes down like a dream flavour not so strong you pull that face you know the face lol no none of that and such a nice taste so crisp amazing have gone and bought another bottle of Amazon!! It's in the cupboard ready for summer!!

I really like Jack Daniels, but after tasting this stuff it's my new favourite. It's well presented in the squarish bottle, and the lid is sealed with a wax like plastic. On opening it smells kinda familiar, a little like JD. Tastes amazing, a little stronger than JD at 45%. On ice or with coke, a fantastic Bourbon and one I would highly recommend.

Balanced, refined and even elegant. Starts out sweet, a corn sweetness, followed by powerful oak. The body is rounded. Soft flavors. Black cherry makes an appearance. Oak re-enters with charcoal and makes for a cleansing of the palate in a very fresh fashion. The finish is long. I am impressed! Oak and a little brown sugar/charcoal remain and zing for quite while. There is no ugly burn in the throat. Just warmth.

I have been a long term drinker of Jack Daniels, so was very interested to try Maker's Mark. The Bzzcampaign gave me the opportunity to try it for free, so I signed up straight away!! I really enjoyed the change and found Maker's Mark to be a really smooth bourbon, ideal to enjoy when relaxing after a long week at work. I would definitely recommend it and will continue to enjoy it.

We tested Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky. The packaging is really eyecatching with the lid having eyecatching detail. We first tasted this neat with ice and then with a bit of lemonade. I prefer it with lemonade. It has a strong clear taste that lasts on the tongue. Not a favourite of ours but we would buy it if seen on offer
