Maker's Mark Straight Bourbon, 750 ml Bottle, 45.0% ABV

Like this better than the “46”. Seems to have a more pronounced “bite” than regular Maker's Mark.

This by the taste you cna tell is a higher caliber whiskey. It has such a rich taste and scent. I will definitely be buying this after this test. It has taken me over a month to drink it to get my review as I like to savour and taste with different mixers. I can safeltly say the cococola with a woody feature goes lovely with this

It's always a pleasure to find a good bourbon, and believe me, this is a GREAT one. I never had Maker's Mark before and was pleasantly surprised by it. It certainly does pack a lot of flavour and tastes as sweet as it smells, making it a real delight to drink on it's own. It's very smooth and not overpowering. It doesn't have that same "burn" that others have. As I normally use a mixer, I did try this with cola and it totally altered the flavour, making one super smooth bourbon & cola, but I preferred sipping it on its own, it's that tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I'm no whisky expert, but this is my take on Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky. I tried to drink it neat and it was too strong for me to enjoy, I needed plenty of ice and a little water. What I really enjoyed was using this bourbon whisky with a mixer and in cocktails. There are some great cocktail recipes on the Marker's Mark website to try. I liked the Maker's Maple Old Fashioned using maple syrup and the Maker's & Ginger as pictured.

Absolutely gorgeous. I don't usually drink Bourbon but this makers mark is lovely. The taste is of butterscotch, a charred oak, and sweet honey. It's very smooth to drink and has a long lasting taste. I don't quite know how I managed to avoid it until now but it's a beautiful slow sip kind of bourbon, extremely pleasant flavour and it just gives you a nice heat when swallowed unlike some I've tried. I do like this one with some coke, some don't taste quite right but this one is lovely. I would totally recommend.

I was thrilled to receive this product and was throughly surprised by just how beautiful it was. I have been drinking whisky all my life and in the last few years I have moved over to bourbon. It's rich, full flavoured and smooth and I enjoyed every drop. I would highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely be buying myself some more!!!

As a fan and advocate of good quality bourbon whisky, I have tried Maker's Mark in the past. Like most people interested in trying new bourbons the choices are so broad and there is always a new another to try - but there is great joy in revisiting the ones that stood out. Maker's Mark is one that stands out and demands regular visits to remind you of the joy of breaking the seal, literally in their case with their unmistakable hand-dipped red wax, pouring a glass and being welcomed back with that beautiful soft aroma. The first sip instantly takes you back to the first time you tasted its gorgeous vanilla and butterscotch sweetness. It is always a joy revisiting good memories.

I have been a long term drinker of Jack Daniels, so was very interested to try Maker's Mark. The Bzzcampaign gave me the opportunity to try it for free, so I signed up straight away!! I really enjoyed the change and found Maker's Mark to be a really smooth bourbon, ideal to enjoy when relaxing after a long week at work. I would definitely recommend it and will continue to enjoy it.

Makers Mark has it's own definitive taste, you can definitely pick it out from it's rivals. The whisky itself is just right this means it makes a great sipping whisky on the rocks, but if you do like to add anything else it goes nice with some coke, adding that caramel taste to a nice blend. The bottle is very unique and I've never come across this before, i really like the hand dipped wax seal on the top.
