Maker's Mark Straight Bourbon, 750 ml Bottle, 45.0% ABV

Since I lived in Kentucky how could I not love Makers Mark so introducing my California and Nevada friends was poring Makers into Bota bag and putting it in the freezer then when it was time for the boat trip on Lake Tahoe pu. The bota bag out of freezer and head to the lake and enjoy.

Like this better than the “46”. Seems to have a more pronounced “bite” than regular Maker's Mark.

My husband and I have gotten into cocktail making since lockdown started last March, one of our favourite cocktails is an old fashioned. Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is the perfect whisky for this classic cocktail. With its mellow and smooth taste, It's a great whisky for experimenting with cocktail making!

I really like Jack Daniels, but after tasting this stuff it's my new favourite. It's well presented in the squarish bottle, and the lid is sealed with a wax like plastic. On opening it smells kinda familiar, a little like JD. Tastes amazing, a little stronger than JD at 45%. On ice or with coke, a fantastic Bourbon and one I would highly recommend.

I was sent this to review. It's lovely and smooth and is really nice. It has a lovely sweet taste but isn't too sweet. It is smoother than some of the other brands I have tried and doesn't have as strong a aftertaste which is a plus. I had it with Pepsi when I tried it for a review, however it would be lovely to drink on its own with ice. As well as drinking it I would try and use it for cooking. I would definitely buy this and would recommend it to friends and family and it would make a lovely gift for a whiskey lover.

Myself and my husband really enjoyed this bourbon. It is very smooth and sweet, and easy to drink. I am not usually a big whiskey drinker but was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed this both on the rocks and mixed into a whiskey sour. It was a wonderful lockdown treat after a long day! I would buy this again and would recommend this brand.

This by the taste you cna tell is a higher caliber whiskey. It has such a rich taste and scent. I will definitely be buying this after this test. It has taken me over a month to drink it to get my review as I like to savour and taste with different mixers. I can safeltly say the cococola with a woody feature goes lovely with this

It's always a pleasure to find a good bourbon, and believe me, this is a GREAT one. I never had Maker's Mark before and was pleasantly surprised by it. It certainly does pack a lot of flavour and tastes as sweet as it smells, making it a real delight to drink on it's own. It's very smooth and not overpowering. It doesn't have that same "burn" that others have. As I normally use a mixer, I did try this with cola and it totally altered the flavour, making one super smooth bourbon & cola, but I preferred sipping it on its own, it's that tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This bourbon whisky has a nice vanilla-y tone to it. Quite sweet but this meant it's easier to drink straight, although I usually add a little coke (much to my partner's disgust!) I love the design of the bottle, and reading all the info on the bottle it has an interesting back story within the family business. I like things like this - less commercial. I tried this whisky has part of a free product promotion but have seen on offer so may purchase again although I think this bottle will last a while.

I was given the chance to try maker's Mark whisky. The first thing I thought when I opened the box was how the bottle stood out more than any other whisky I had seen. With the waxed covered top. This added a little something else when opening it. I think that this is a nice touch and would be nice if you were gifting it to someone. I found the whisky very easy to drink. I was drinking it by itself. It was not to strong and did not burn when drinking it. I would definitely buy it for myself or a gift for someone.
