Angelia Jolie was born for this role as Maleficent. I love the twist in the fairytale. My children love this movie and want to watch it over and over. And so do I!

great movie for the family

I was afraid that having a villain for the main character might make this film too dark and scary for my 4 year old. I was also afraid that it might glorify evil. Neither were true. This story is a wonderful tale about overcoming evil in your past, making a true change, and doing what is right. I think it is a story that Walt Disney would have been proud to put his name on!

My daughter is 7yrs old and see loves movies but does better at movies at home (she always seem to fall asleep right in the middle of the movie in theaters) but when we saw this movie in theaters she was into it the WHOLE time and wanted it when it came out and we got it the very day if came out. She has watched it 4 times already!

I'm a very big DVD feature film buyer Ince I am an old, disabled man who has no friends left in this overcrowded west coast State I am sick of living in, but I don't have the funds to move. SO, being disabled without a caregiver or any close friends or family left, and having a very nice large TV and a good DVD player, so I watch my ever growing collection of DVDs daily since commercial TV service always seems to fail and the commercials take up far too much time! And since there is little of interest on commercial TV, which always seems to experience broadcast problems, I buy DVDs! I am one of the growing population who must reside in a county Housing Authority site and my "home" - which is poorly run by disinterested Housing Authority people and a terrible, befuddled residential manager, I keep the door locked and a baseball bat close at hand! We tenants feel stuck here, neglected and too oftenabused. My elderly life has become my DVD collection. Without family or close friends anymore, all I have left in my life are my DVDs and TV, and I thank you for Angelina's films. My DVD collection and public broadcasting (PBS) TV have become my life! Management here is miserable, and I am happiest when watching DVDs and my door is locked so no one can interrupt a good film. I think I'll watch Angelina's DVD again make some popcorn! I've watched this film several times since it came out on DVD and I'll likely keep watching as I do with my collection. My current apartment manager has proclaimed my DVD collection is "clutter" and a fire danger, yet they are neatly stored in my bookcases, and had my cases still been filled with my hardback books, I doubt he's complain as much or as loudly that I get rid of them since, he proclaims, my films are all available via cable services. I'd have to either pay a monthly or yearly fee, or else subscribe to a pricey service, and their selection seldom remains the same, so re-watching a favorite film costs money each time you watch. I buy DVDs so they are available any time I wish, and I watch DVDs a whole lot more than commercial TV. I hate commercials as I and everyone does. And Maleficent shall be enjoyed for years to come, thank you!

It was brand new and in a sealed plastic wrap. The digital code did not work (error message stated it had already been redeemed), but the seller was amazing and was able to get a code that worked.

I ordered the original Maleficent dvd. I was sent the Maleficent Mistress of Evil instead. I'm not a “re-package, print labels and head to post office or fedEX” return kind of person so I am very disappointed. Two stars because it was packaged well and received in a timely manner yet the incorrect item made them lose the other three stars.
