This is the double duty you need for Hard Water!
I've owned a salon and been a colorist for 20 years! If you have hard, iron buildup from your water, this is the only product that truly works! You definitely should use distilled water to mix the power! It will take out any toner, or semi permanent color, so be prepared for cleansed palette for you to work with! I recommend the hood dryer to get the full job done!
