MAM Perfect Night Pacifier, 0-6 Months, 2 Pack

I had bought so many of the avent pacifiers since bringing my daughter home from the hospital and tried over and over again for her to take the long straight nipple on it but it always seemed to choke or gag her !! My cousin recommended mam and now my 3 month old daughter can self soothe herself to sleep at night !! Thank you mam

Used them for our 8 lbs newborn from week 1 to soothe her when she cried and she loves them. 1 week is sooner than the recommended age to give babies a pacifier, but we saw the nurses give her a random-brand pacifier at the hospital and thought it wouldn't be the end of the world to try it when she was distressed. The MAM Perfect pacifier is so slim that it fit in her mouth perfectly, and we haven't had any luck moving to a different pacifier since. Had absolutely no trouble with nipple confusion as it doesn't resemble the nipple shape that much, and she even spits it out when she's hungry or doesn't want/need to soothe herself anymore. Also, the glow in the dark feature is an absolute life saver in the evening or at night, when she looses her binky and we don't want to turn the light on to wake her up. I only wish they had more colors - I have about of 10 of these floating around the house/car/stroller.

We only use MAM pacifiers. I love their designs. My baby loves the perfect fit. My older child only used MAM as well. Great products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not exaggerating when I say this product has kept me sane. I have used the MAM glow-in-the-dark pacifiers with two babies now. My oldest (almost 4 yrs) LOVED these pacifiers from the get-go and used them from birth until… Well, let's just say he loved them so much that we had a really hard time weaning him off them (with no negative effects when it comes to oral development). My daughter (5 mo) hasn't been much of a pacifier person, but she'll actually take these when her teething gets bad. The round knob design on the front makes it really easy for her to put the pacifier in and take it out as she pleases without dropping them, which is great since she doesn't keep it in but for short stretches. And they actually glow in the dark! My son was the kind of baby who barely slept, so waking up AGAIN because he lost his paci was enough to make me cry from exhaustion, especially when they'd end up on the floor/under furniture in the dark. But because these glow, I was able to find them easily (as was he, once he got old enough to find and grab it himself). So long as you keep them in a lit area before bed, they'll glow all night long (though it will be a little more faint by morning). And the designs are so darn cute!!! I've especially loved any of the space-themed ones. I don't often use the sanitizer case. I'm not sure what I do wrong, but it tips over and spills most of the times I use it. But that doesn't inconvenience me enough to remove a star. Overall, I LOVE this product, and I've recommended it to every expecting mama I know for years now. Our little is at the stage where pacifiers are super important for her to settle to sleep, and I'm over having to pat around the crib trying to find her binky, and I don't particularly feel it's safe to have a harness or leash around at bedtime. So this glow in the dark feature is AMAZING. And it's not a dinky glow- it's really GLOWING, and I'm a big fan. Unfortunately, my daughter did not accept these pacifiers as she is not used to slant ype pacifiers. But I know they are excellent pacifiers after using them with my two older children. Just my newest child has a preference with round pacifiers. I would whole heartedly suggest these pacifiers to other parents and friends alike. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 month old has gotten used to round pacifiers up until this point and initially didn't take this pacifier, but has now begun to accept it! Initially, I gave my baby round pacifiers more like natural nipple shape to prevent nipple confusion; he already didn't have the best latch first few months. Now that he breastfeeds well and takes bottles ok, I wasn't afraid to try other shapes. Since around 6 months of age and showing signs of teething, I've been wanting to introduce a more orthodontic shape. The flatter orthodontic shape pacifiers are better for babies when their teeth come in to prevent teeth malocclusion (improper bite formation.) At first, my baby didn't take the pacifier and spit it right out. I kept trying to reintroduce it another day and allow him to play with it as well. As of a week ago, he finally accepted it and keeps it in his mouth. I like that it's glow-in-the-dark so it's easier to find at night, just have to remember to ‘charge' it in the light before bedtime. I often am searching for other pacifiers all around the baby in the dark, risking waking him up. The shape is cute and doesn't cover the face as much as others. With my baby's pudgy cheeks, it looks even cuter. The neutral colors are also nice and don't distract from any outfits. The only thing I would add is a handle in the pacifier. I like to attach a pacifier clip and don't want to attach it the face shield and have the string pressing into my baby's face. Plus, my baby likes to hold on to his pacifier and play with it so a handle would give him an easier way to grasp it and put into his mouth. they say mam pacifiers...but the nipple is slightly diff than the of mam nipples I order with the attachment. my daughter doesnt like them as much, so there no use to her. and they dont glow in the dark. reason I bought them to find on those half sleep nights lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this pacifier because it is my son's favorite brand. I love the glow in the dark feature and that it allows for a more natural lip position when sleeping. However, my son tends to spit out this pacifier more often than not. (It is worth noting that he has just recently started rejecting his other pacifiers too.) I still offer this every nap and bedtime because I am still hoping he will learn to love it. Personally, the glow in the dark feature is way more helpful than I could have anticipated. It makes it easy for me to find in the middle of the night. This pacifier washes easily, and I do use the sterilizing case, another added perk. While this isn't my son's favorite it is one of mine (but let's be honest, his opinion counts the most).
