Love the cheese straws but can't afford the shipping. Had some time ago, bought them at our local store but they don't stock them anymore.

Well, they are definitely "cheddary" They are pretty much Chezit's, but way better tasting, and just like Wisconsin Cheddar, they are SHARP in flavor and will take the moisture right out of your mouth. Now I myself have stuffed them with cream cheese and also crab meat, so go ahead and experiment...
