I had just purchased a 17.3 toshiba widescreen, and was checking for value and durability in a bag. This one more than fits the bill !! Laptop fits very nicely and lots of inner and outer room for items, including software, Logitech M525 mouse, power adapter and cables. I will give it the "acid test" this weekend and see how the new altec usb laptop speakers I got today fit, so....if they fit, that will be everything and the kitchen sink !! Great item and safe and prompt Walmart to my door shipping made this a sweet deal...
This case is realy worth the money I paid for it.Have looked in the store`s and couldn`t find what I wanted. Will shop online at Wal-mart from now on not only is it eaiser but also cheaper.I give this 5 star`s.
Space for 17" laptop, pockets for accessories, fabric brackets for pens, outer compartment for papers and files, carrying handle What a wonderful idea. It carries everything you need to keep in touch on the go. Love it!
I have a 17.3" laptop, and it fits in here pperfectly. It comes with a carry strap and anchors inside the case to hold the computer in place. Also, there is a back pocket that doesn't show in any images but is great for holding papers, USB hard drives, etc. Being a college student, I carry my laptop a lot of places, so I needed something durable, practical, and cheap. This fit the bill perfectly.
I bought this case to hold my 17.3" laptop and it works great for that. Has a pocket on the inside and a mesh storage area. Large pocket outside with very good Velcro grip. I had it loaded up on a recent trip and it held together perfectly. It is a light weight case with all the features you need for holding your laptop and accessories. Only two small cons: 1. The inside strap that goes across the laptop is a bit flimsy feeling. 2. It could use a small pad or buffer piece on the inside. Something to protect the laptop from the pens and other objects you put into the mesh area. Overall, this is a great case for the money. I would buy another one from them if I needed it. Happy with my purchase.
I was in search of a case for my new laptop and wanted one that sturdy but inexpensive. When I opened the box and saw it for the first time I was a little concerned with the construction. Looking inside, however, it felt well padded and reasonable for what I needed. I've had my computer in it a bit and carried it around, and I'm satisfied it will be ok.
The Manhattan Empire laptop case for 17" devices is mostly what I had hoped. There is plenty of space and the material seems adequate to protecting the unit from moisture or temperature extremes. The included strap clips on quickly and is long enough for my needs. The photo in the ad online seemed to suggest a color more gray than black - but it is just basic black with little variation. The strength of this item is definitely the price, $15.99, which makes this purchase favorable.
I should have payed attention to the negative reviews. This is my second one, first one is fine. This one has torn handle where it attaches to the case. I will have to return it to the store and hopefully get a second one..maybe. Unfortunately, a lot of cases cannot be found at the store so you purchase blindly and on reviews which are not always true. Will also contact Manhattan.
I was quite disappointed when I opened the case because it seems to provide very little protection for the computer. It lets it jostle around WAY too much and I see only very minimal impact protection in the case. It looked quite acceptable in the one picture given but opening it was an unpleasant surprise.
Very poorly constructed. Carried my laptop 3 days in this case and the handle ripped off. So... I took it back. The price was great! Sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case not much! Don't waste your money.
