I like the amount of milk replacer in this bag. Ithelps so I don't have to reorder as much and it typically lasts through my litters supplemental feedings until they are ready for Esbilac 2nd step.
We've used this for years with our baby goats. It mixes up very quick and easy and does not seem to cause digestion problems even when alternately fed with milk. I use a scant scoop per cup of water for best results.
I have an orphaned foal that I bottle feed with Unimilk. He was high risk the first few days of his life (not expected to survive) and I have to say that he is thriving and his body condition is superb with this product. He is developing exceptionally well. I would not use any other milk replacer and I highly recommend this product because of the results I have experienced with it.
I have had bottle calves most of my life. I have tried a wide variety of brands of milk replacer. I finally found one I used up until the past two years. The brand I was using was unavailable in this area so started with the Unimilk. It truly is the best milk replacer I have ever found. It's easy to mix and easier for the calves to digest. The only drawback is that it doesn't come in #25 or #50 bags. I go through a large amount of milk replacer and it requires me to go to town more frequently for that. Cost wise, it is about .40/# more than the previous milk replacer. It is well worth the money. I am extremely pleased with the milk replacer. I am extremely pleased with all the Manna Pro products I use for my cattle, horses, rabbits, chickens, goats and pigs. Manna Pro definitely has premium quality products that are affordable and cost effective. Thank you.
I use Unimilk for bottle calves and wish it came in larger packages....25, 40 or even 50 lb bags similar to the sizes of dog or cat food. Because it's such a great product, I'm giving it 5 stars and will continue to use it in the available packaging. Is there any way my request for larger packaging could be passed on to the customer/product service department? Thanks for providing the best milk replacer product I've used! My bottle calves appreciate it, too!
I buy Unimilk for my puppies to eat during the beginning of the weaning process. I also keep it on hand in case mom doesn't produce enough milk for them. I even feed it to mom to keep her strong and healthy while she's nursing. Her stomach is a little sensitive so I have to add more water. The puppies love it and mom loves it too. The price is great too! My local feed store is so very expensive for even smaller bags of milk replacement. I really appreciate this product being available on Walmart.com
I love that walmart sells this product. It is the right price, saving me $10 from buying it at tractor supply or shoppers. One stop shopping is no lie at walmart!
This is a nice product...the baby goats drink it gladly...after the first week, as soon as the baby goats learn to drink water, I increase the strength of the milk and also add fresh dairy heavy cream to further fortify it
We run a rescue and always keep this on hand. You never know when you need it a little more expensive than other stuff
Grabbed this instead of nurse all by accident, thought it should work, no need to take it back. I have two piglets on the replacer and it turns blue 10 minutes after feeding them in a dish and looks moldy. Now they are vomiting as soon as they eat it. Going back to nurse all bc we didn't have any issues with that.
