this is a cute little coffee grinder. that's one i can take with me when i need fresh ground coffee. what i like about it is that i can take it apart and place it back in the box. the other thing i like is that it has a small window on the side to show the volume. nice

My husband got 8 bags of SB coffee significantly cheaper than normal. He didn't read the bag. The bags are whole beans. LOL! To solve the problem, my husband is going to hand grind the beans for real fresh tasting coffee. Easy to assemble and operate. Now he wants a French Press to go along with his new hand grinder.

I just got this and I'm not entirely comfortable with it yet, but it certainly does work. It's all stainless steel except for the ceramic burr which is supposed to be better than a stainless steel burr for flavor preservation and consistency of grounds. My first try at this, the grounds are a little coarser than I'd like, but you can adjust that - instructions do show you how. A little over 1/3 cup of coffee beans fit in the "coffee warehouse" with room to spare and yielded about the same amount in grounds. It took 152 turns of the handle. I hope I never have to re-set the blades to this grinder because it sounds confusing. It's priced about the same as other manual coffee grinders of this quality and design. Seller got it to me a day early which is always appreciated. Far better than using a Mortar %26 Pestle if you want something non-electric. Arrives in 2 pieces and looks exactly as portrayed in ad.

This item works good but does a small amount at a time.

You have to remove the grind head just to fill the hopper. There's no way to remove the top plate without completely unscrewing and removing the grinder. Serious design oversight.

It was difficult to turn and cause physical pain to use it.
