I bought two trays, and they are exactly what I needed. They are plastic but seem very sturdy. I moved to an apartment with no dining room, so I have used them to carry my dinner to my living room. I can set it on a table or eat comfortably with it on my lap. I have also used them to hold potted plants. I am totally happy with them. There is a huge color selection, as well.

Smaller than It looked online. Color choice was limited, price was deciding factor. I am happy with it and can put it into use.

Orange tray is a nice pop of color and a pretty lacquer finish with gold rim. A little less sturdy than expected. Probably not terribly functional but a pretty accent piece and great for the price.
