This little tin makes four to five great tasting sandwiches. Add a little mayo, sweet relish, salt and pepper or ingredients to your personal taste and serve on toasted bread. So good.
I used to use this just to make chicken salad: Now I ad it to soups and salads, and frankly I love it. There's a bit of juice in the can, and if I'm not adding the chicken to a soup or sauce, I drain it onto a plate for the cats, so everyone gets a treat.
Tastes really good. Really good for sandwiches.
Good for an addition to a sandwich or salad. I like to make a big green mixed salad and add the chicken for protein. I rinse it first to get out the salt. Tastes good and it's fast. Prefer it to the ham version.
The chicken is really packed into can. Once taken out and fluffed with fork there is a lot. For me it was too salty. The taste is Ok. I started taking small amounts and experimenting adding things to it. With food prices increasing I am trying canned meat and fish .
Not what I expected. I expected it to be like Flakes of Tuna.
If you are looking for chicken "flakes" to add to a sandwich or a chicke salad. Look elsewhere. I made the mistake of buying 5 tins thinking I would keep it around for chicken salad sandwich cravings. What you will get is a solid, hockey-puck of mystery meat. I have never seen chicken that looks like this, tastes like this, or has the consistency of this. IT is a solid disk of pinkiish meat. about the consistency of hardened jello.
Too salty, not really flakey, more congealed like, not to my liking.
Would not recommend. They're not flakes.
It was so gross I threw it out after one bite.
