The light is Super bright! I can light up the tops 50 year old queen palms two house over and far above the telephone poles. I can also light you trees 1 1/2 blocks and a field away. They flashlight has a variable beam with a solid round light looking more like the moon to a tight solid bean lighting up your neighborhood, dessert, woody area or beach sand even allowing you to look for long distance across a water body with the tight beam. As if you were looking for a swimmer in the dark. Easy push button. It does have two emergency blinking light settings stored on a single switch. Nice for emergencies but if you are in a situation where you need that bean to turn off immediately you are going to have to push the flash light head into your ribcage, belly or thigh until you cycle through the beam %26 flashing beam. I haven't dropped it but it is very solid and well made. It should withstand a drop from hand onto a hard surface easy . I haven't dropped NOT dropped it so I can't tell you if the element /bulb is going to make it through a high impact drop. I do recommend this flashlight and I am buying several more for emergency lighting. One in each vehicle, bedroom, kitchen, and emergency kit. Yes! I think this is a good light to place in these areas and kits as it comes ready to run off of renewable rechargeable batteries and regular batteries. Bonus. ! Bonus! These lights are so cool, very intense light, charge last good. It also comes will a backup power source that holds 3 AAA batteries. This light does come with the rechargeable battery as well. I bought mine a year ago, since, I've bought one for my mom, daughter and my son! You won't be disappointed!

Love this flashlight! Very bright and charges with usb. My basement was flooding and this flashlight helped me find where the water was coming in through small holes in my floor hidden under an old door frame and under 2 legs supporting a huge shelf. Nothing else was bright enough to have found those small holes. It also has a couple of settings to flash off and on. If you are looking for a small very bright flashlight, I recommend this one.

I highly recommend buying this flashlight! Extremely bright and shoots light a long distance! It holds charge a long time and came already charged and ready to shine. Great buy at a great price!

these flashlights are excellent, they are very well built very bright and beat just about anything out there. This is the second time that I purchased these flashlights the first time was two or three years ago. you can never have enough flashlights. I keep one in my car one in the kitchen and one in my office. Very high quality.

I read the reviews about battery and thought of not buying it but I bought it anyway to check myself. I left it on for 2 hours and it still had the juice left. It came with LCD writing pad which I guess was sent as a gift. The only thing this product lacks is manual, overall a good purchase.

Bought it to compare to my Energizer 1000 lumen Tac Light. Yes it is VERY bright and a “whiter” light than the Energizer but does not light up a large area in wide which the Energizer DEFINITELY does. If on brightest mode you have to go through the other 4 modes to turn it off and can't just shut off with one push of the button. I would buy another one but thought I'd share my little comparison of tac lights I bought here.

This is a great little flashlight. Very bright and easy to use. Unfortunately the button fell out and I can't turn it on anymore. Disappointing.

The light bulb came loose. Very low quality lamp, pure garbage.

One of the flashlights, after being tested and having worked, does NOT light up again with the rechargeable battery. It works only with AAA batteries. So, it seems the rechargeable battery is NOT good.
