Product does not sit on my scalp or make my hair crunchy. Apply on upside down, damp hair by scrunching. Air dry without touching, then fluff hair out for perfect ringlets.
This mousse is great for curly hair. I have naturally curly hair and it makes my hair soft, curly and have an awesome fragrance. I've been using it for years along with Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Shampoo and matching Conditioner. I love that line.
[Employee of walmartcanada] It's absolutely amazing, my curls are so well defined and I have very little frizz even on 2nd day hair, would absolutely recommend!!
I have low-porosity, fine hair, but a *lot* of it, and mainly 2b-2c curls. I've been using the CG method for about 6 months. I grabbed this mousse at random off the shelf as the ingredients were CG-friendly, and boy am I happy I did. It claims to "add shine" but I don't find it does that too much to my hair, as my hair tends to look oily/greasy with most products that "add shine". To nitpick, it gives it a nice healthy sheen more so than a shine. The hold is very firm; my hair is insane sometimes and this stuff tames it down very well. I use it on day 2 and 3 sometimes to manage frizz, but I find the 7-in-1 foam from the same line is better for that. This mousse doesn't weigh your hair down but by day 3 (or 4, though I rarely go that long without at least a co-wash) it does start to build up and make my hair feel a touch gunky. I use a fair bit of this stuff and I'd highly recommend a good clarifying/stripping shampoo if you're going to use this and/or the 7-in-1 foam. I have one that I use 2-3x a month. It also smells like a lemon meringue pie, and who wouldn't want to smell like a lemon meringue pie??? As a guy I'm not hung up on "girly smells" but I find most floral or fruit-scented stuff is overwhelming. This stuff smells awesome though! In the end though, I'm very happy with this mousse. It and the 7-in-1 foam seem to work really well for my hair type. I'd solidly recommend this stuff to anyone with low-porosity hair, for sure; it's nice that it doesn't gunk up your hair even after 2-3 applications.
My son has very curly hair, he does not like most products as he isn't into heavy scented products or feeling like his hair is weighed down. He loves Strictly Curls, he uses it every day and it defines his curls giving them a nice bounce with out looking like it is caked in product.
I bought a can and it came out liquidy like there's no gas to make it foam. I went to another store to purchase it again and got the same result. I love the hold, but I'm afraid I'll soon be throwing both cans away because I won't be able to use either one of the entire cans.
I bought this hair mousse online. After using it about five times, even though there was still product inside, nothing would come out anymore. I thought maybe I had used it incorrectly, so I bought another one — but the same thing happened after a few uses. I absolutely do not recommend this product.
It said quantity 2. I got 1 . Would not have bought and paid $17.48 for 1. Think from now on Amazon will be my go to!
This is the second time I bought this mouse. First time it stopped working half way and no foam came out and I thought it was a one time problem. The second time I bought it and exact same thing happened. It's still full but no foam comes out and the top part broke.
I have used this product for a long time and love it, but the last 2 bottles I have bought seems to lose its pressure. Nothing comes out but clear runny gel Thats doesn't work. I'm about to have to look for something else.
