Marcal® Small Steps™ 100% Recycled 2-Ply Paper Towels, 60 Sheets Per Roll, Case Of 15 Rolls

These paper towels are absorbent and affordable. The softness rating means nothing to me because I'm not rubbing them on myself. I also don't think that softness and absorbance go hand in hand. Marcal is a responsible and green company that uses recycled materials, which I love. They are also local which equates to local jobs. I love Marcal products!

7th Generation is too expensive - I like Marcal better anyway. The towels are kind of rough, good for scrubbing and cleaning. I like that they are recycled and Marcal is a cruelty-free company, meaning they don't test on animals like Bounty or Brawny.

15 skinny rolls, not much on 'em, 2-ply, thin but hold together. I don't like what happens to chlorine when it is heated, so I use these to wipe cooking pans, griddle, etc. I refuse to pay what Simple Truth, Seventh Generation, etc. charge for Chlorine-Free towels. Made in USA matters to us, so will prob buy again.

Warning that these towels are individually wrapped in plastic. Also they are not as large or absorbent as other recycled brands. They work, but these are not as good as the seventh generation paper towels.

These are low grade commercial paper towels but that is OK - I knew what I was getting. They are for backup if I run out of the good ones and can't get the good ones.

Bought these as stores are stocked out of paper towels. You may have to use more for some jobs as they are thinner than what I am used to. Would buy again if paper towels are still unavailable in stores.

I was so glad to get a bix box of recycled paper towels delivered to my house...but they are so thin. even though they are 'recycled' and I felt awesome for using things that could help save the earth... I end up wasting a lot of them because they rip so easily. Absorbancy is ok, but ripping them off the roll feels more like a thin toilet paper than a paper towel.

Took a chance since paper towels online are mostly gone due to covid 19. These are poor quality and very small rolls. I tried to convince myself that this recycled brand would be ok. It was not. There are many other generic or not so popular brands that are better if you can find them. You would be better off buying a good z fold towel. A lesson learned for me. Save yourself the disappointment and look for another product.

I love that these are made of recycled paper and that I can compost them through an industrial composting facility but they do not hold up to normal kitchen use. I have the roll in a vertical holder with pressure lever to help with one-hand tearing. It never tears all the way to the bottom at the perforations like other paper towels. It also goes very limp when wetted and does not hold up to scrubbing. I bought a case and can't wait until they are used up. Disappointed with the quality.

I expected eco friendly paper towels, but they come individually wrapped in plastic so they don't compare well to other eco friendly paper towels. I would not recommend.
