My order arrived early-a plus. This machine was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. The seat and back rest are padded and very comfortable. The seat is adjustable for short or tall people (closer to the pedals or further back). The resistance level is also adjustable. It has a gadget for monitoring distance etc. and requires 2 double A batteries; I don't feel the need to use it. I use the bike while watching TV. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the price.
I just got the Marcy Magnetic Recumbent Bike and it is absolutely amazing! It has endless cool features. It comes with eight different levels of resistance. The seat has adjustments for long and short legs. Not only does the screen track your distance it also tracks speed, time, calories burned, and odometer. The seat comes with a very comfortable cushion seat, and the bars are made of foam so it will not hurt your hands to hold on to while you are cycling. The foot pedals have plastic bars that help you hold your foot in place while using the bike. It has a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds. The assembly time is about two hours but it took me less than that. The instructions are very thorough and simple to understand as you are putting the bike together. Overall I would highly recommend this product to someone that is motivated and dedicated to losing weight or bettering their health overall.
I really like this exercise bike. Pros - the bike only took 45 minutes to assemble and it wasn't hard. It has several settings, the easiest being very easy and the hardest being doable for a short time. There's lots of settings in between for a variety of mini goals. I like all the different display settings: time, speed, distance, calories burned, and an odometer. The time setting pauses if you take a break so it's satisfying knowing that the 20 minutes (or however long) was actually you pedaling for that amount of time. I also really like that they have handles to the side of the display, like a real bike, and they also have handles to the side of the seat. The seat handles are more comfy for leaning back. The bike itself doesn't take too much room and looks very easy to clean. The seat is also comfortable. There are a couple cons - the bike does not come with the AAA batteries that it needs, so don't forget them when you buy. The calorie counter seems to go at the same rate whether it's on an easy setting or a hard setting, you obviously burn more calories on a harder setting, but I just don't use that setting for my goal setting. And it would be fun/challenging if it came with a pre program or two, just to see if they're doable for a beginner and to give you another goal to be able to reach.
Now I can workout whenever I want in the comfort of my home! It arrive undamaged and assembly took about 20 mins. Im surprised at the durability. The pedal mechanism is smooth. The seat is comfy and large. I like the different resistance levels. I can build up as time goes. The screen is large. I can easily cycle through and see how I'm doing. Because of the comfortable seating, I find myself exercising more while watching tv. And I can exercise rain or shine, night or day. I recommend it! With regular maintanace I see it lasting many years.
It is exactly as described. It is much more as quiet than the belt drive bike I am replacing
I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY BIKE I HAVE RIDDEN IN ITALY THE COUNTRYSIDE IS AMAZING TOURED ROME NOT SO MUCH-- ALL VIRTUAL BUT NONE THE LESS I DID IT PLANNING TO GO TO CALI COASTLINE NEXT-- ONE GROWL-- THE DISPLAY SCREEN DOESN'T SHOW BRIGHTLY CAN'T RESET IT ONLY DOWN SIDE CAN'T SEE HOW MANY MILES AND HOW MANY CALORIES IT IS AMAZING I RIDE ABOUT 5 MILES EVERY DAY
Fast shipping and good product so far. The bike works well for my wife. I got it for her neuropathy in feet. She uses it everyday to stimulate the nerves and blood flow. Very easy for her to peddle and looks like it is built well for long lasting wear.
Love this bike. I weigh 293 and am 5'8" and it is plenty big and sturdy for me. My only complaint is that the display is not backlit which makes it difficult to read
It was easy to assemble and it is light weight. I was able to put it together in roughly an hour only because I disassemble the odometer mount to make sure the cables were connected correctly in attempt to get the screen to display. I even switched out the batteries to ensure they were not the issue. In the end the bike works I just don't have a functioning odometer tracker/display system. I will not return this item because it will be more of a pain to return, instead I will use my cell phone to time workouts.
This is a standard seated bike that is good for occasional use. The bike came unassembled in 11 pieces and was very easy to unpack. The instructions are okay if you are good at putting things together, but the instructions are not very descriptive for beginners. Once the bike is assembled, the rear “feet” do allow for adjustments so that the bike does not wobble during use. In addition, there is a third knob for adjustment in the middle of the bike to ensure that the bike is stable. Negatives: - The bike does not come with batteries for the center console, so you will need to purchase 2 AAA batteries separately - The ledge on the bike display is too shallow and cannot be used to prop up your phone or tablet safely - At higher gear levels, the resistance does not feel smooth when peddling - When you stop peddling, you can hear the gear slide inside - You can only peddle forward, as there is no resistance available going backward - Bike seems to be made for taller people. At 5'3”, the shortest settings just barely allows me to ride comfortably. I would not recommend this for anyone shorter than 5'2” unless you have longer legs - Bike display is dark and does not have a backlight - Screen is a little bit far to reach if you are sitting back against the back rest - Bike has wheels in the front but is not easily roll-able or movable Positives: - Bike is very smooth on the low resistance settings - The seat and the backrest are very comfortable to sit in - Bike has arm rests/bars to hold onto while biking - The bike is extremely quiet - Foot pedals have adjustable straps Overall, this bike would be great for someone taller who is looking to bike casually or who is just getting back into fitness. For occasional use, I would say that this is an overall great value for your money.
