The flat bench is one of the most versatile workout tools ever invented. For dumb bell presses to tricep dips to leg raises the Marcy Utility Flat Bench is exactly what you need. It's solid and provides excellent support for your workout with a great price.
I don't have time for gyms and dvd workouts that last an hour long. So what do I do? I had to create all my home workouts. I'm no trainer but using my resources I've made real workouts that give real results in the matter of 30 minutes or less! There are a few things that are necessary for a home gym and this is one of them. As a tall guy, I find it hard to find things like benches to be the right size. This bench is perfect! Its length is absolutely perfect for me and everything I do, as well as being extremely compact for storage. But the price! For around $50, this is the least expensive bench I could find on the internet. Most other benches of this quality are between $80-$150. I love this product and would recommend it to any person creating their home gym as I have done.
I picked up this bench because I wanted to switch to using just dumbells for my workout. I also wanted to save some space in my apartment. This fits the bill and then some. It's very sturdy and can handle anything thrown at it. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheaply made at all. Great for my workouts.
I ordered this bench for our condominium complex's gym to replace the one we had that was worn out. It is perfect for what we needed, looks good and is functional. Good value for this quality product. Would buy again.
This weight bench was worth every dollar I spent. I have a squat rack and now I can do bench press in my garage. There are many other exercises I can do now too. It was very easy to put together too. Use your socket wrench for ease if use.
Doing the job . Looks nice . Fair price . Hubby said it was not too easy to assemble but I don't know the details . Im enjoying it !
I carry a long torso on a short frame, and this bench is *almost* too short for me. If you're 5'11" or taller, you may want to look for something a few inches longer. Otherwise, for the price, the bench is sturdy enough to do very heavy dumbbell chest presses for a combined (weights and user) 400lbs without so much as a squeak. Avoid using the very ends of the bench for close grip push ups, though. The bench ends are far enough away from where the bench connects to the steel supports, that you'll crack and break them.
It is a great value for what it is; a cheap workout bench of suprisingly good quality. It is a little shorter than I would have liked, but works fine.
I wish the bench was a little longer. I am 5 10 and I have to set down right on the end to keep my head from hanging off the end of the bench. The red stitching is nice. On mine though the lines are a bit wavy. The Bench is comfortable though and not difficult to assemble or move around.
I like this bench, however, be aware that it is only 43" long. If you are much over 5'6" this might be too short for you.
