Margaret Holmes Canned Tomatoes and Okra, 14.5 oz, Can

Tasty and perfect for quick Shrimp Gumbo. Here's how: Defrost and peel some Jumbo Shrimp - 10 -20 shrimp 2 cans Tomatoes and Okra, 1-2 cups cooked rice, teaspoon of red pepper flakes or some Louisiana Hot sauce, a bay leaf. Let it all come to a simmer for about 12 minutes and you've got a fabulous meal with lots of bayou taste. (add Old Bay, saute'd onions and a few bell peppers first to kick up the flavors)

Have ate stews like this since a kid. These didn't have easy open tab they had to be opened by can opener. The taste is just right for me. Not too much tomato that you can't taste the okra. With salt and pepper tastes great to me. I keep this in stock at home because it's quick meal and the shelf life is long.

Margaret Holmes has the best vegetables. Tomatoes/Okra, Tomatoes/Okra/field peas, Squash and Vidalia Onions. I have loved taking these and mixing them together, Tomatoes/Okra mixed with Squash and Vidalia Onions. Yum Yum. Don't worry about them touching on your plate, or one juice running into the other juice. Just mix them together, and you will definitely thank me later for the suggestion. I call it Mix, Match, Put em in a Batch Bowl.

Ok, it's too hot for using this in home made soup this month, back up for summer months is to put a fried corn cake in a bowl and serve this over the corn cake...deliciousness!

I haven't bought a can of vegetables made by Margaret Holmes that I didn't love. The favor of her products is always spot on. When you put this over rice, it's so so good!!

This Margaret Holmes masterpiece put my tomatoes and okra and lima beans concoction to shame. I will never try this again. I'll just buy Margaret Holmes everything. I'm on it completely.😲🥰😋☺️💯

All of Margaret Holmes canned goods are tasty, but everything is overseasoned with pepper. I have a very sensitive palate to Hot things. I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds these veggies overly hot. Otherwise they are very tasty. I buy the Okra and Tomatoes and the seasoned Cabbage regularlly.

This brand of okra and tomatoes is simply great. I eat it as a soup, or with brown rice, either way it tastes wonderful.

It never fail. Every time I purchase can goods it always comes back damaged. It's a waste of time to have delivery and have to go to the store. I'm at the point of not ordering can goods.
