The advertiser's do their job well with this product. The package makes it look so mouthwatering delicious. When cooking, the instructions call for you to flip the meatloaf over and stir the mashed potatoes, which when stirred was very soupy at that point. It made me wish that I had some instant potatoes to add to it at that point, however, not having any instant potatoes to add to it, I just followed the instructions and continued heating it the rest of the way. After the microwave cooking process was complete and it sat for a minute, the potatoes had turn into a paste-like consistency, much better than the soupy consistency it was like at mid-cook point.
I was very disappointed with this tv dinner , I'd say it's on the verge of false advertising. the meat loaf was maybe 2 to 2 1/2 in . the potatoes were a 1/4 in of watery with stuff n the corn was un chewable. I'm not sure what's going on with our food these days , higher prices ,smaller amounts , n quality of items I use to love aren't the same anymore .
This is yet another Marie Callender's product I will never buy again due to extreme "shrinkage" in the portion size. The meat loaf is so small it will fit in a tablespoon, and they didn't even add mashed potatoes to make up for the obvious reduction in portion size. Even the corn portion was tiny. This is very disappointing, and if this continues with more of their products they will be struck from my shopping list entirely.
the size of the serving was very disappointing and the mashed potatoes were more like liquid. it was extremely salty. if you were going to make an actual meal of this you would be sadly disappointed. I'm actually going to contact ConAgra to let them know how disappointed I was because that's how bad it was.
I usually purchase Stouffers, Walmart, of course was out. This was disgusting, Marie C.s, rubber, salty, weird taste, watery potatoes. I do like some of their items, NOT this. yuck.
The quality of this particular meal was disgusting. The meat was quite pale; didn't even look like meat. It looked like formed mush. The mashed potatoes were a liquidity soup. There was very little gravy, and the potato "soup" just mixed right into what little gravy there was; so the meatloaf itself was dry. The only good component was the corn. I threw out the meat and liquid potatoes. I like most of the other Marie Callender meals. So what I ended up with with this meatloaf dinner was an extreme disappointment, and it will be the last time I buy this. Quality over price is important to me. So I am going back to the other well-known, more expensive brand that is actually visually pleasing and palatable.
I generally don't need to add salt to much of the food that I eat so when a food item is heavily salted I can really taste it. This meatloaf dinner was so heavily salted that I could not eat it, and that rarely happens. If you are watching your salt intake, avoid this item.
Sad that Marie Callender Co. puts this product for sale. They used to do much better. Would tell folks "do not waste your money on this"! It's horrible. No taste, no idea what the meat is, and floating so called mashed potatoes. Learned my lesson...won't be buying several of their products anymore.
I must be honest. I'm usually satisfied with this brand. This product definately disappointed. The meat was of questionable origins, the potato/gravy mixture resemble some form gastric distress. The corn was edible. I will never eat this again unless it's in a survival situation.
The worst dinner ever. Where are the potatoes? Meat is grey and certainly not meatloaf. How can you sleep at night selling such poor quality products?
