Marie Callender’s Sweet and Sour Chicken, Frozen Meal, 14 oz (Frozen)

So I understand why we put salt in our food to preserve it but the amount of salt in this is probably just a little bit too much and the sugar is low bit high like it should be sweet, but not that sweet. I said take out a considerable amount of sugar to where it's just sweet maybe even tart but still taste good and also a lot of salt. Take that out too and then last when I lease, the chicken is good, but it has its own taste. It sort of kind of doesn't pair with the sauce, which is weird most of these meals. The meat usually goes well with whatever sauce is in there. This one is just a tad off.

I love, Love, Love this gelotto. I eat intirely too much it. Everything is great about this product and flavor choice, The only thiing about this, is that is very, very hard to open, The top is impossible to open without running it under hot water and banging it on the counter top and using one of those round gismos to open.

one of my new favorite , Marie callender meals... every time I order from Walmart I want to buy one of these and I literally have to talk myself out of it cuz I will buy a few of them even if I didn't come to the store for that, all the time lol so I try to stay away from that Frozen aisle but Marie callender definitely is a guilty pleasure of mine.. and this meal is fulfilling and so delicious.. you'll probably eat another time if you try it once.. when you come back to review, I'm going to say I told you so lol..😜😂👍🏽❤️

When we get together, my neighbor and I often share in our delight our afternoon meal with our favorites from Marie Callendars. I like the variety of meals to choose from. Their price is very reasonable. it doesn't dent the pocketbook. As a shopper, I can rely on their consistancy keeping us returning. A positive 💯% all around!

I like to have a quick choice for dinner for nights that I just can't cook. This is one of those that just barely reaches the level of food. That said, the vegetables are really good with butter on them. The sauce has a reasonably nice taste and it does have peppers and pineapple. I was not aware of how bad breaded chicken could taste. The breading is soggy on 3.sides and glued to the fourth side. To get an idea, take a piece of French bread and grab a handful, submerge in water and enjoy.

the picture on the package looked good with chunks of pineapple and quite a bit of broccoli and sweet peppers scattered over it , but when I opened it the the package had a whole side cup of carrots and only a little bit of pineapple, 1 piece of broccoli 🥦,and about 3 tiny pieces of peppers.

The food items in this meal was alright. The reason why I'm writing this is to complain on NO sweet and sour sauce at all in my two meals of this. I had to use the liquid from the side veggies to give the rice and nuggets some moisture to be able to eat it. I had no sauce at home to use on it. I was hungry and had to eat something. As a consumer, You might want to consider this issue before purchasing.

MARIE CALLENDER USED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST BRANDS OUT THERE FOR FROZEN FOOD. WOW HAS THAT CHANGED! NOW THEY ARE MUSHY AND TASTELESS AND EXCEPT FOR THE FROZEN POT PIES I WILL NO LONGER BE BUYING THIS BRAND!
