It was pretty affordable! The items included was all very nice, except the since the plant can be taken apart into 3 branches. There should be 3 suctions. Everything else is ^.^!

This beta fish tank is great I love it and it is a great size even though people believe that it should be a bigger tank for your beta fish I still bought it anyways it's a good size and is perfect for a beta fish but there is no heater and it's hard to maintain room temperature so that is the only flaw also you cannot install a heater or a filter will need a new tank soon

TOO SMALL TO USE AS A PERMANENT HOME FOR FISH!

sunni05 November 2, 2018

So first off everybody this tank is WAY TOO SMALL FOR A BETTA FISH TO LIVE IN PERMANENTLY! But as for a quarantine tank or hospital tank for a fish to stay in for a short limited amount of time then it's ok, not great but ok. When I opened the box mine was actually cracked all the way up the front and on the bottom too, so I contacted Walmart and got a refund. It's nice that in this kit you get the small amount of gravel, small plant, tiny package of food and the lil bottle of water conditioner though. Of course being as small as this tank is adding the plant to this tank would make even less space so I really wouldn't suggest using the plant in this tank. Also there is no filter with this tiny tank so you would have to do a water change basically every day or so to keep the tank cleaned properly. But at the very least you could stick a tiny air stone down into one corner of this tank for a fish when using as a quarantine or hospital tank for a short period of time (but of course then the lid wouldn't be able to be shut). There is also a spot on the top of the back of this tank where a light can be added but you have to buy the one that goes with this tank separately. It's bad that this tank is labeled as a "Betta Kit" cause it makes people who don't know much about fish and who are new to Bettas think that this could actually be a suitable permanent tank for a Betta fish to live in and it's NOT.

Cruel to the Animal

BettaBuddy November 3, 2016

This isn't a proper fish tank. It's like shoving a small child into a closet and keeping them there for their entire life. Bettas need at least 2.5 galleons of water. I would only buy this as a quarantine tank or as a temporary tank. For that I would recommend it, as that's what I'm using it for, as a temporary tank for a house move, and it comes with everything you need to give your fish a temporary home when an actual tank isn't available, but as a full fish tank and full time home, this is cruel to any animal you put it in, especially because it has no filter. Do research into the animal you want to bring into your home - it's a life that you're now responsible for, and this is just cruel.

Cheap and small case for your betta

Gabricce March 15, 2023

I brought this aquarium for my betta on march 5th 2023. a line on the wall was appeared last week when I was cleaning it with warm water .Finally today water began to drop out. So it's useless now. I don't recommend this product, it is so fragil and the items inside as not suittable for bettas. My betta didn't like the food and the plastic plant can dammage fish tale and its fins.

Way Too Small

KieraAPC October 8, 2019

Absolutely too small for a betta. Betta fish need a good few gallons and they NEED a filter, which this tank doesn't provide. Betta will be miserable and live a very short life in a tank like this. This should be used as a TEMPORARY, quarantine tank ONLY. Treat them like living creatures, do your research about what a pet really needs to live a good life, and get them a bigger tank (at your local walmart).
