No quality control from manufacturer evidently?
Yes, I did fix this horn myself. It wouldn't work. Luckily I have knowledge of what makes a horn function. Had to remove horn cover to adjust screw several times which is a tonal screw lets call it. Horn sounds great as should have from manufacturer w/o all this unnecessary disassembly, etc. Snap on cover wouldn't go back on, so rather than having a fit I used my old (AFI / Marinco Mini Compact Electric Boat Horn- Stainless Steel Marine 10035), which is virtually identical, cover & mounting screw. Worked great making 1 useable horn out of 2. This should not have to be. Do love the horn. Wouldn't have ordered it had I not. Mass production @ it's worst. If you order-have knowledge of how to do this, or have to send back. I hate sending things back mind you. Pleased w/my own handiwork I am. Yours truly, Bob
