Unit works fine, not hardly as much pressure as i expected but kept the water bubbled up all day. I fish bass tournaments and have an old boat with a small live-well, big bags of Bass are hard to keep alive in the summer. I added this for a boost first time using it i had 18.5 lbs. Had a 4 lb Bass that was hooked bad and was in bad shape as soon as i put him in the live-well, still he stayed alive almost all day. Normally he would have been dead within the hour. So yes it helps and seemed to work great all day.

Use on my pontoon boat. Fills the live well, which is a large ice chest,and then aerates the fish to keep them alive.

Only had for one week but so far works great. I used this to turn a large 120qt cooler into a large live well/bait tank.

This is a great aerator!! I used it in a 35 gallon plastic barrel and it kept my 12 dozen minnows alive on a 540 mile trip to the lake. You won't be disappointed!

Bought this kit to use with a 100qt Igloo Sportsman cooler to make a livewell for my jon boat. With this livewell kit you can fill the cooler and empty it with ease. The pump puts out a strong spray with the included spray bar and will keep your fish healthy while fishing for a day. The suction cups for the spray bar leave a little to be desired and can and do come loose during a day of fishing. I not sure how well this kit will work in smaller coolers since the included hose can cause problems when bass are in the livewell and bumping into the hose and knocking the spray bar down. Overall this is a good kit and I would buy it again and I think parring this kit with the 100qt Igloo Sportsman cooler that has a smaller lid built into the main lid makes an almost perfect portable livewell.

it would be great if it had a shutoff switch close to the tank on the cord that goes to the battery other than that it is a great product

The pump is very efficient. For my relatively small, 25 quart cooler, supply voltage is reduced to 6V instead of 12V so that my bait will not be stressed out much.

I can't tell you how it works, because it does not work. I have perfectly good working battery (tried 2 others) and motor won't turn on. I am taking it back to local Walmart store with my online purchase email receipt and they better get me a new one pronto.

Just got unit installed in cooler turned on for first time and NOTHING. Checked battery and connections all good upon inspection I used my finger to turn pump blade while hooked up to power and wallah it began to pump, disconnected and tried to turn back on and same thing NOTHING jump started again and ran. Looks like a wasted 5 days to get product and another hour or so in the store to get returned. Great idea and good luck to those who try this sounds like a coin flip as to whether or not it will work was looking forward to a cooler full of fresh fish instead I got one full of bad parts. P.S.- the plastic tubing also had a hole in it when it did run- STRIKE 2
