my mom use to bring me pecan pie from chase plaza in st Louis when i was a kid over 50 years ago, this pie brought back that memory, hope there always the same and in stock, definitely order again
Quick dessert for the holidays, but the crust leaves much to be desired. It was dry, and very crumbly, and not sweet at all. But the pecan filling more than makes up for it,
Everyone enjoyed it. It's nutty and sweet with good crispness in the crust. For an occasional treat, like in parties at home, in offices, and schools - it's a good purchase.
there were large gaps of 2 to 3 in around at least four of them where there were no pecans showing on top. The flavor was horrible. I had previously bought these several times in the store but I will never ever ever buy this product again. if you can't do any better than you might need to consider removing this product from your shelves. I was so thoroughly disappointed. I would like to think that this is an anomaly and not the norm for this location. My previous purchases were at other locations. I sent one to my mom as well today so I hope hers was a lot better. I also would like to think that this is not just Walmart's attempt at getting us to buy a better product or brand. previously I had been purchasing the Marie callender's from this location and of course that has always come out fantastic. but I never believed that Walmart what sells such an inferior product.
i did not order this pie, I ordered Marie Callendars frozen pecan pie. I would rather have had any other Marie Callendar pie than this. I do not like them and they cost more . When I received notification of substitutions, I could not accept or decline, my phone does not allow me to, and I was away from home. I do not have time to make my own sonmaybe someone in the family will eat this.
Idk how you can ruin a pecan pie but Walmart figured out how. DO NOT BUY!!!! This is definitely no pecan pie. Yes ik homemade is better but in a hurry you'd think this product would be sufficient to have but it's not!! Definitely not worth the money.
upon arrival, my pie was under many items and it got crushed. I understand the shortage of employees and I appreciate everyone who completed my order and the lady who brought my groceries was beyond helpful . it's really not a big deal. I shop at this location a million times like everyone else and this is by far my worst experience. I'll take this experience any day of the week. just be careful with my pie😉
i've never gotten anything from the bakery that wasn't good except this horrible pie. i'm not sure i will ever eat any more of it than i have already had which was one piece.
This pie showed up with white powder on it and half the crust edge broken off into the box. Also, it has a best by date of 1/20, today is the 21st, so that is probably a bad stock issue. will be requesting refund.
A quarter of the pie had no pecans! I was so embarrassed when serving to guest. I ordered one for thanks giving and that was fine. But not the one I recently ordered for Christmas Day!
