I have a child whom is extremely picky and will only eat cheese pizza. When she read that it had 5 different cheeses she was reluctant to try it... but she did and she loved it!! She thought it was far better than a cheese pizza from the pizza parlor! Shes a huge fan of this pizza! I had to try some of it and I agree with her! Quick and easy after a busy day! Affordable on a family budget.
This Five Cheese Pizza is really impressive! We baked this exactly as directed (after adding some convenient sliced canned mushrooms) and our family all agreed that it was as close to a take-out pizza from our local pizza shop as it could be. So tasty and cheesy with a perfect crust. This is perfect for busy Friday evenings, for game nights, or afternoon football because it's fast, delicious and such a good price. The sauce had delicious herbs and garlic flavor (but not overpowering). Serve this with a salad and tasty beverages, and you're all set without breaking the bank!
We used to love these but they changed the crust and sauce years ago so we stopped getting them. The crust was dry and chalky. The sauce wasnt flavorful. I tried the meat one the other day and it was so much better than it was originally! We got the cheese today and it's even better than the meat one. When you open it from the wrapper it seems to be lacking in cheese, but when it bakes it expands and it's actually the perfect amount. Highly recommend trying if you weren't a fan in the past.
We personally really like these pizzas. I just can't seem to get down the perfect way to cook it. Because they're so large, they overlap a traditional pizza pan. If I let it be that way, the crust seems to get too dark on the bottom. If I place some foil underneath, the crust doesn't seem to get to a nice crispy crust. Any tips on cooking it would be great! That aside, we still like the taste of them and will be purchasing more. Also, they're a great size for the cost.
I add toppings when preparing to cook for the family. Great way to use leftovers!! Then top with Parmesan and more cheeses. With a small salad on the side, this is a family favorite -- especially for me on those nights when preparing a full dinner is not possible.
I would probably buy the chhese only for both pies next time. in other review, i had to doctor up the roni pie. This 5 cheese pie if awesome. i used GV italian sausage, white onions and black olives, with a bit more GV while milk mozzarella. Exceptional!! lots of cheese, crust is a bit too thick, would like to see a thin crust version in the x lg size. cook time is longer than 13-15 min. more like 30 min, unless you like uncooked doughy pizza.
I like to buy the cheese pizza so I can add my own ingredients. I added fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, bell pepper, onion, ground turkey sausage, crumbled ground beef, onion powder %26 garlic powder. So my add-ons are what really makes the pizza 🍕 the best!!😂
1/3 of the pizza didn't have cheese/topping on it . 1/4 of the pizza didn't have tomato sauce on it. Just whole areas of dough, and a few areas just sauce . Ordered on Walmart . Poor choice. Regular name brand pizza would have been the better choice
This was probably the worst pizza I've (tried to eat) eaten in my life. It was a plain 5 cheese pizza, upon which I would have expected heaps of delicious cheese. No. Very sparsely scatter cheese. I never tasted any sauce at all, and I tend to prefer light sauce rather than gobs. This might have had 5 tablespoons over a 16" pizza. The crust was tasteless and tough. Overall, this is a huge disappointment. I tend to think WalMart's store brand products are very good, but this pizza was not. It was a waste of $10.00. It was so bad that (and I kid you not) my dogs wouldn't eat it after I gave up and chopped it up to small bites for them. I finally threw it out for the opossums and raccoons, and I'm not sure they ate it either. I haven't walked out to see. Please WalMart, you can do so much better, I'm sure you can. do so much better. But I'll never know because I will never risk my hard-earned money on this disgusting product again. Buyer beware.
Do not order this pizza. It is literally the worst I have ever had and I regret the fact that I ordered three not ever having tasted it before. Now I've got two of these big old cardboard boxes with cheese on them in my refrigerator that I don't know what to do with.
