I bought this Walmart five-layer dip thinking, “Nice, a little snack before bed.” What I actually purchased was a federally unregulated bio-weapon. The flavor? Solid. Creamy, cheesy, beans doing bean things. I respected it. I trusted it. That was my first mistake. Around 2:17 AM, my body began issuing warnings. By 2:30, I had broken the sound barrier. The gas was not just loud. It was aggressive. The kind of smell that makes you apologize to furniture. I'm pretty sure my dog filed a missing persons report. This dip didn't just cause gas. It caused events. Layered. Complex. Lingering. Each release felt like unlocking another level in a video game I never wanted to play. Would I buy it again? Yes. But only if I hate myself and everyone within a three-room radius. Five layers of dip. Seven layers of regret.
a perfectly superb transaction with thoughtful porch placementings, if I had $100Trillion yalld have $900Million :) Best wishes.
substitute for the other product I would normally get. costs are definitely increasing on everything.
Dip is a mix of 5 toppings. Refried bean at bottom, the cantina salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and cheddar cheese on top. Refried beans tastes a bit bland when mixed in with the salsa. There are a couple of bigger not fully mashed beans in the dip. Not my cup of tea but ok. Salsa tastes a bit like a little blander version of mild picante sauce with some chunky tomatoes pieces. There is a bit of spicy flavor if you eat too much of the dip. The flavors to me that pop out the most are the beans and the salsa which seems to overpower the taste of the dip. Not spicy but you can taste some jalapeno flavor which will start to burn your mouth if you eat a lot of the dip. I like mine with bite sized round tortilla chips but I also think it pairs well on nacho cheese tacos. I even put about a teaspoon or 2 on a baked potatoes and it tasted ok. Overall, it's a once in a while dip for me. Not my favorite but good as a substitute if you're into refried beans and salsa dips. In my opinion you can barely taste the guacamole and the sour cream is lightly flavored. Not too much cheddar cheese flavor either. Mainly tastes like refried beans and salsa with jalapenos. So if that's not what you are going for...skip it
Layers of flavor. Has everything you might get as a single dip; guacamole, sour cream, bean, picante. I like things very spicy, all I had to add was ghost pepper picante sauce.
This is basically bean dip with a little bit of sour cream and cheese on top. The salsa and guacamole are barely in it. they put it around the outside of the container so it makes you think you're getting it, but you don't. It's been this way every time I've gotten it. It tastes fine but save your money and buy a can of beans instead
I have really enjoyed this dip and have bought it often but discovered there is soy in it. I am hypothyroid and cannot have soy this was a big disappointment
Tastes awful. Like vinegar had been added. And where's the guacamole??? You're better off making your own.
It's literally ONLY beans. The other “layers” are only in the outside so it looks like it's layered. The cheese on top covers up the beans in the center. Complete sham.
If you are gonna buy dips, do it yourself. I was given an expired one by the pick up shoppers. Very annoying as it wasn't cheap and it shouldn't be hard to read.
