Lots of different flavors and textures make this an interesting taste experience. Even for someone with a love for baked goods and sweets just one bar is enough to satisfy those cravings. Good to have on hand if you have company and want to offer a cup of tea and a goodie. I've ordered again and plan to keep in the freezer so you won't miss out. I can think of lots of things to do with these like serve with ice cream, drizzled with raspberries or strawberries and a bit of mascarpone warmed in top, etc. Versatile base for creative desserts.
I have to say I was hesitant to purchase these because my mother was a chef and she made these for me every single Christmas as a child so I didn't have high hopes for these however I have to say that I ended up going back and buying a second batch because they were in fact that good everybody ate the first batch so there was none left and I had to buy a second match. I would definitely buy them again.
This bar has a comforting and familiar flavor that is sweet enough but not too sweet. one of my guilty pleasures.
Not as good as my homemade ones but so much easier than having to make them.
I love these they are so good
I always bought these as bite size but now they are bars.I would say they are the same as 2 bite ones .Not sure if they changed but I did notice not as much nuts and they crumble more. The crust doesn't seem as packed down or maybe I got a few super fresh ones? Not sure but they do taste different to me.Could be the coconut is too much or too many chips or maybe the lack of nuts.Either way I still enjoy them but do pick off some chips and coconut as some packages seem to have more than others.Online shopping I cant choose so I take what I get delivered.A bit pricey but hoping they stay around and continue selling them.Easy to make at home but easier to buy already made too.Hope you bring back the bite size again to give us options.I could cut them to bite size but they fall apart and are sticky.
Of course they aren't quite like homemade, but these are actually closer than most grocery store baked goods. They have a ton of calories, so it isn't something I buy very often. I would like to have more nuts, but that is almost always true. I guess you could say I am nuts about nuts! The bars are big enough to satisfy as dessert when your sweet tooth is begging for SOMETHING.
I was almost mad at my spouse for cutting my breakfast dessert cookie bar in half, but no, Walmart did it, so I'm mad at them instead. These are just meh. They don't taste bad, but they don't bring the joy like they used to when they were full-sized. The texture is soft and sandy. Little crunch. No sticky-chew. Just one note. It's not the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth, but as another reviewer said, you'd be better off buying ingredients and making them yourself. You'd get at least twice as much for a comparable price.
Super disappointing. First, they are half the size they used to be and twice the price. Secomf, they don't taste at all the the 7 layer bars you make at home, which leads to weird texture and sad flavor. Don't waste your money on these.
to say this was good would be a lie. youre better off buying the ingredients and making the proper recipe. you wont be disappointed. look up "magic bars recipe"
