Bought my 1st one a few months back, had it that night %26 every night since...Have a LARGE slice daily, actually a 1/4 of the pie. Absolutely Love , been on an Apple Pie Binge for a few months now %26 still going. Kudos, to the Baker, LOVE IT. Mouth watering good
This pie is delicious in many ways... Nice bright apples are the foundation, set into a crust that is just right. The topping avoids the too common overbake that creates teeth breaking rocks... Light and crunchy. And of course the just right dose of caramel makes it stand out from the crowd of apple pies. Comes in 8" and 10" sizes, and appear to be always available. Enjoy!
Surprisingly good. I didn't expect much from some little pie like this from Walmart. But I needed to bring some desert to a friend's who invited me over for an easter dinner. Grabbed this and a cherry one, and both were outstanding. Crust was really good - crisp, flaky, everything I expected it NOT to be.
This pie was great!! I was very impressed with the texture and flavor. The apples were perfectly sweetened, seasoned and cooked. The caramel drizzle on the crumble top crust brought it all together so deliciously. 10/10 recommend this dessert. I will absolutely buy it again.
This is the best apple pie I've ever had in my life and it's so delicious I can't stop buying it and it's the perfect pie I want to bring to the next gathering in my own dish and say I made it lol I love that it's already been cooked and the filling is amazing and fresh with a little crunch the apples are amazing and adding some whipped cream on top is amazing! It's the best crust ever.
At first I didn't care for this. It was kind if blah. I was going to throw it out right then. Realized I had some vanilla ice cream so tried it with that and it was better but it wasn't great. That's when I remembered the caramel syrup. Drizzled that over the ice cream and it was great!!
This is by far, hands down, the best apple pie I've ever had. The apples are soft but not mushy, the crumb top…oh my!! It's a perfectly thick layer of crumbles that go all the way over to the edge of the crust and it's just a little bit sweeter than the apples, thanks to the drizzle of Carmel. If u like apple pie, or even if you don't, you really MUST try this pie.
I like this pie but I don't love it. It's alright, the crust is very crumbly and on the thick side but it tastes alright. I do like the crumb topping it's not skimpy and it's not too sweet. The caramel, so/so there really isn't enough of it to matter. If it didn't have the caramel topping I wouldn't miss it. Frankly I'd like it more if I just added some caramel sundae topping to get more of the experience. The real failure is the filling, Yikes I bet there isn't more than 2 apples in each pie. The filling is very thin and at the same time it's not cooked all the way. The apples taste good but I don't want an al dente apple inside my apple pie. I don't want them to be mushy either but I don't like struggling to cut through the apple slices. Some of those slices are really tough. The apply filling has a nice flavor and it's not overly sweet. I wish it had more spices, more cinnamon, some nutmeg and a pinch of cloves so it had more of a homemade flavor. For a store bought pie it's good enough. I wouldn't serve it to company because it's messy and meager but it's a good snack for us guys who don't want to take the time to make a pie from scratch. It's better heated up and served with ice cream if you like that sort of thing. If I go that far I'll add a dash of cinnamon and a light sprinkle of nutmeg.
I don't know if this is a common issue or if ours wasn't baked properly but the top was really gloppy, like softened raw dough, and it had a bunch of mold throughout the topping. the silver lining to this pie getting somewhat smashed in transit is that we were able to see the mold throughout the crumb topping before we attempted to eat it. yuck!
This substitute was soggy, mushy very little taste pie, or rather was a consistency of a cobbler instead. Many pieces of the actual apple core included as a "bonus" possibly for the consumer to be assured it was apples in the mix. Pie crust squishy and nasty. Missed any spices in the flavor. Lots of caramel.
