Previously, I'd only eaten croissants at restaurants. I ordered some thinking surely thesw croissants would not compare. I was wrong. These croissants are always fresh, flaky and tender to the bite. They hold up to chicken and egg salad. They are great warmed in the oven with scrambled eggs. Also, they are perfect , plain, as a quick snack. I will and do order them weekly.
These Market Fresh croissant buns from Walmart are perfect for my homemade breakfast sandwiches. They’re soft, buttery, and have that flaky croissant texture without being too messy. I slice them, add egg, cheese, and Canadian bacon. So much better than regular frozen breakfast sandwiches.
These are so delicious! I use them regularly for chicken salad sandwiches! Egg salad or tuna salad would be great too. Just slice them lengthwise and stuff with the salad, press to close the croissant. Serve whole or cut in half. My friends and I love them! I should add that they are always of excellent quality.
These are really delicious but my advice is not to heat em in the microwave but in the oven set to 350. You put one in there at 350 for about 5 minutes and it'll taste like you baked it yourself! If you microwave it it'll just real soft and squishy but still delicious—I mean it's made of butter, y'all!
If you're like me and want your croissant to a have a nice texture on the outside, heat them for about 2 mins in an air fryer at 360F. That being said, these are the one of the best tasting croissants. You can ignore the other varieties. IMO, the best tasting croissant is sold by Starbucks but it costs almost $4 a piece.
I switched to croissant from bread while hospitalized because it seemed a more diet friendly choice in an aesthetic sense. Peanut butter and raspberry jam never tasted so good. Walmart croissants are quite good always fresh and well-priced. Bread is heavier and has lost its appeal as a necessity in the pantry. Croissants are soft with a lite texture. Any type of filling from cheese, meat, butter, avocado etc. will become a tasty treat. Give them a try next time you need to treat yourself. Use your imagination to dress them up as they are crave worthy and never heavy. And yes they come in small size for a quick snack. Try toasting them. I am going now to make a cheese %26 avocado croissant sandwich heated briefly in the microwave. Snack craving resolved!
The croissants are tasty, especially warm %26 slightly crusty from the oven. These croissants are a light snack, ideal with a filling of your choice. Chocolate, jam/preserves, chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, even cheese! I won't advise you to fill them with cannoli filling- that's - my secret! They are superior than the refrigerated rolled croissants.
Marketside All Butter Whole Croissants are a delightful surprise for a store-brand pastry. They’re light, golden, and have that classic French-style flakiness that makes each bite feel indulgent. The buttery flavor is rich without being greasy, and they reheat beautifully—just a few minutes in the oven and they’re warm, crisp, and ready to impress. Whether you're pairing them with jam for breakfast, using them for sandwiches, or just sneaking one as a snack, they’re versatile and satisfying. Some folks have noted freshness concerns with online orders, so grabbing them in-store might be your best bet. But overall, they’re a solid pick for anyone craving a touch of bakery magic without the bakery price.
NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: CHECK YOUR WEIGHTS ON THINGS LIKE MEAT AND CHEESE THAT YOU BUY. VIRAL VIDEO SHOWS HOW WALMART IS SCAMMING US AND CHARGING PRICES ON FULL WEIGHT MARKED ON PACKAGE! YET THE PACKAGES ARE SEVERELY UNDERWEIGHT! Stale when opened. The large croissants are always fresh and buttery but these minis were gross and hard and stale when opened. I opened these on the first night we picked them up and the expiration was 4 or 5 days away still. So it made no sense. What a waste of money. We purchased 2 packs.
Did not receive and since Qinglin couldn't communicate in English, he didn't understand what I asked. I am not saying that everyone needs to speak English but we have to find a way to communicate and know that this is could be an issue of the delivery person.
