I use to eat a lot of tilapia until I heard it was bad for you, now I’m hooked on skinless salmon. I blackened season it and place it in the famous air fryer for 20 minutes it’s to die for seriously. I love it a little pricey but it’s well worth it to me. I try to stick to my budget but that never happens because Walmart is a trap to make you spend more than what you came for. It’s fresh and the portions are a good size. Very tasty too. It’s not a strong smell either when cooking.
Salmon is a go-to healthy menu item I love. The color, firmness and freshness have been consistent. I like the skinless filets more than frozen, skin-on although the skinless are more expensive for a lesse quantity. To elevate a meal, these can be prepped in different ways. Leftovers are nice additions to top salads.
This is really good salmon. I purchased a bag of frozen salmon previously and it was gross but THIS fresh salmon was perfect. I pan seared it in butter, lemon, garlic and a touch of peanut oil then topped it with a cranberry mustard sauce. I served it with baked baby potatoes and it was a tasty dinner without spending too much time in the kitchen.
Although not having to worry about the skin, it seems like salmon fillets are smaller. Of course, it is much more expensive to buy it skinless. But I have already done that once, and I will in the future by skin on because it’s cheaper. But the salmon fillets are awesome. Walmart does have good salmon.
Any kind of fish is best if you don’t freeze it and that you use it/cook it right after you purchase it. The salmon was so delicious. We just put a few herbs on it and put it in a skillet to where you pressed your finger in it it would spring back. It was so good and definitely so good for you. I think a rule of thumb for cooking salmon is about five minutes on each side. You have have to keep an eye on it. It’s good even if it’s overcooked but it’s really good if it’s cooked just done.
I was vegan for 40 years and for health reasons my doctor insisted I include more protein in my diet by way of fish and eggs. I had never tried any fish before in my entire life and chose the salmon as the best fish for my first time ever. It was a little unusual getting used to it but it tasted absolutely delicious and everything I wished it could be and even better the next day! The quality of the fish was excellent and the flavor was exquisite. I have no complaints about this product and I recommend it! Yummy and I will definitely be buying it again soon!
We love this salmon. Each piece is really big and has great flavor. We’ve always had a great product. I toss it on the grill wrapped in aluminum foil on the top wrack with a little olive oil and season it with a Parmesan and garlic seasoning for about 8 minutes. Paired with grilled veggies makes a great meal.
The best salmon I've ever bought from a grocery store! I love that they are skinless. The pieces are big and meaty. We have them grilled or sautéed and they are delicious! Definitely recommend!
Great tasting and fresh. I prefer the skinless salmon, they have the same item with skin on also. Two tillet's in the pack. They both were cut the save size and thickness. They are about 1/2 inch thick. They were beautiful fillets. The salmons was glistening pink from the great oil salmon has that is heat hearty. and the flavor was outstanding. I'm excited that I have leftovers for my lunch and dinner tonight!! I paired this with lime rice and cabbage. Yummy in my tummy!!🥰
The packaging was torn open and it wreaked bad. I got this item thru Walmart pickup. I could smell it all the way home, and when I opened the bag up, I nearly threw up. This may have been a mistake on the shoppers part, however this was unacceptable.
