Yuck! It wasn't completely horrible but it was bad. There were a lot of slimy wilted and spotted leaves in this package. I think this bag contained more fully grown spinach than anything else and the spinach was really bitter. I really wanted a spring mix of different types of lettuce I didn't want fully grown bitter spinach especially as a majority ingredient. It looked good in the photo I didn't even notice the spinach. Don't get me wrong I like spinach but I usually buy the baby spinach because it doesn't have the overly bitter flavor. Besides the wilted, slimy and spotted leaves the carrot sticks were awful. Again I like raw carrots, fresh raw carrots. These were dry, hard and woody they almost seemed like dehydrated carrots. I couldn't even chew them they were so hard. They certainly weren't anywhere close to being fresh. This mix was a disaster. Frankly by the time I got done washing and picking through the mix pulling out the slimy and spotted leave I was little sick to my stomach and I didn't even want to eat the salad anymore. It was just terrible. Sure it's cheap and it should be since it's old and wilted, slimy and bitter. I'd happy pay $2.00 or even $3.00 more if it were delivered fresh and crisp. Another one on my do not every order again list.
They were not mindful to select a fresh pack. The product is spoiled, not fresh, waste of money. Walmart should properly trained staff that work in this area to always pick the best items for customers, to select items that they want for themselves.
It’s always a mixed bag, whether or not these bags of salad will be fresher or soggy and browning, especially when ordering online. Unfortunately this time, these were both. There was so much liquid in this bag, when I opened it, everything was soggy. Half of the greens were also brown around the edges and for some reason the color of the carrots ran. Would not recommend.
Well, I like bag salads, I ordered this one through online pick up. Walmart staff chose and delivered a bag to us the evening before it expired. The lettuce was already starting to look wilted in the bag. This is really a failure of online shopping through Walmart, rather than the salad.
i pucked up my order Saturday evening. when i got home and sta rted putting my food items away, i found the greens BROWN! PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY FIR THIS. THANK YOU.
Maybe because I've only tried this via delivery, but the two or three times I've tried it's been a soggy mess even while being within the best by date. I just throw it straight in the trash so no idea how it tastes otherwise. Maybe buying in person is the only way to guarantee a good bag.
The date is 6/25/26 but there's black mold and gross slimy leaves in the bag. I forgot to app check out, so I won't get my 2.74 back, but how disgusting when it isn't even out of date. So thankful we have something else to eat because we can't leave home today.
i ordered and received this irem on April 14, 2026. the expiration date on the package is April 14, 2026. Your employees should pay attention to ALL EXPIRATION DATES on the products they are pulling. Items ordered should expire 2 WEEKS after they are purchased. This is not the first time I've received expired items, I'm done with this HORRIBLE PRACTICE of waisting my time and money. If the employees can't take the time to look at the expiration dates they shoukd not be working there. In addition some of my items were marked as out of stock on my first order, i immediately reordered the same items and they mysteriously appeared in stock and were delivered to me a few hours later with an additional delivery fee.
Had it delivered so I didn't pick it myself, it was marked down because it expired that day. Of coarse I was charged full price for it. It was brown and slimy. Thank goodness I got a refund. Been very disappointed with the shoppers and the selection of fruit and vegetables lately.
I purchased two bags of greens. It was a waste of money. They were slimy %26 gross. Not the first time I have received bad produce. Seems there is a storage issue at Walmart with keeping things stored at the proper temperature %26 I believe the pickers are overloaded %26 not able to take the time to pick good produce. However, even when I pick it myself, the shelf life is incredibly short %26 things are going bad too fast. Hence my comment about proper storage temperature.
