I like this here cause you bake it yourself and it comes out all crispy and when you pull at it, steam comes out. Then you put a little butter in there and bam! you’re suddenly in Italy and ordering the clams linguine to go with the bread and maybe a little wine (not too much) and when you finish you can use the bread to wipe the extra clam sauce off the plate. But instead of popping off to Italy, which can be expensive if you work down at the plant like I do, you can have this ITALIAN loaf right here in your kitchen and maybe surprise your wife the way I did by making spaghetti and then serving this bread loaf right out of the oven. I woulda made her clams linguine but clams are expensive and there’s no linguine in the house cause Willa does the shopping and only gets spaghetti noodles.
This has been my family's favorite bread to go with out Italian meals. It is a firm bread that has a rustic texture. It's a bit chewy, which we like. Reminds me of a bread that one would serve with olive oil and cheese. It never last long in our house.
This bread loaf is so good! It is soft and not a heavy bread. I make cheesy garlic bread or just buttered. It is perfect for awesome sub sandwiches or meatball subs! It’s great for Philly steak sandwiches too! It is even great for leftovers. It doesn’t get soggy overnight. The possibilities are endless!
delicious, ready-to-bake white bread, not very filling and healthy because it's made from white flour, but good to have on hand when there's no bread at home, it could last for about 1 month before baking, IF they send one that doesn't have an expiration date of 1-2 days lol thanks gardner walmart it would be nice if there was one like this made from whole wheat flour too
If you love a French loaf that gets crusty on top when heated in the oven with butter you will really like this brand. Taste is always fresh and hard to tell from bakery fresh. I'm addicted.
We have sub lovers in the family. I cannot find decent sub bread that they like very easily. This is my go-to sub bread when shopping at Walmart. They approve of this one! Following instructions somewhat, bake at 350 for maybe 6-8 minutes, until it is soft on the inside when you press it from the sides or top.
I love the fresh baked bread scent that fills my house, when I bake the bread! If you don't have extra time to make homemade bread, and want to skip the mess that goes with it, this bake at home bread is perfect! I love being able to time the baking, to get an extra crisp crust, too!
If you run the bread under streaming water then put it in the oven or the toaster oven and bake it for about 5 to 10 minutes you will get the crispiest crunchiest bread you've ever had
Very dry and tasteless. I wish Walmart would get some decent quality. Italian and French bread in there. These taste like Bad quality bread. Your regular italian and french bread is made poorly also, but at least it's better than this. And this costs twice as much. If you can't make good bread there, why don't you have somebody bring it in for you that at least tastes good.
I have bought this bread several times and the family loves it. spread with a little butter and sprinkle on a little garlic powder. toast for a few minutes in the oven . Everyone will love it. None left over at my house.
