Maybe it's just ME but these taste VERY SIMILAR to those cinnamon rolls in the mall. I ended up putting mine in the fridge to extend shelf life. So I scraped off the cream cheese icing, and microwaved the roll for 1 min at 50% power. Then added the icing back on and microwaved it for like 10 seconds. It was awesome! Way better than the ones in the can. Would recommend for guests or an indulgent dessert.
they taste homemade and the frosting is so rich and delicious. It's exactly what my sweet tooth was craving. I look for them every time and I get bummed when I have to accept when they're unavailable. So keep them in stock, please. my double chin and tummy thank you.
they are the best! they are soft and yummy and i can eat all 4 by myself no matter how hungry i am, i told my sister about them and she had already had them and felt the same way they are good heated up or just the way they are, if you have s chance try them it is worth it
bought these as a treat, i ate v then after reheating them for 20 seconds at 50% in the microwave and the icing melted and i was able to spread it all over the roll. there is plenty of cinnamon abs the taste after being warmed is a if they had just been baked. careful, you could eat more than one!
The Cinnamon Rolls were surprisingly delicious. Each roll comes with a generous dollop of icing on top — just pop it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and the icing melts beautifully over the roll. Personally, I found the icing a bit too sweet to use all of it, but my husband and kids absolutely loved it. In fact, they said it was “dangerously good.” The roll itself is very moist, fluffy, and soft, with the cinnamon sugar flavor really coming through in every bite. It's a nicely sized treat and definitely feels indulgent. Overall, it's a very enjoyable sweet treat that we would happily have again.
Oh my goodness! These are amazing. They taste homemade. Well worth the price. Decadent, rich, and sweet (but enough about me)... they are perfection. The dough is not dry, it's squishy in a good way when you take a bite. The cinnamon complements the sweet cream cheese drop on the top. My whole family loves them. Perfect with a cup of coffee (or in my case a cuppa tea).
"Cream cheese"? The frosting tasted like soybean oil whipped with sugar. If there is any actual cream cheese in the dollop of frosting, it's one teaspoon to at least a pound of nasty, chemical-tasting artificial ingredients. There's no substitute for cream or butter, so don't bother trying to fake it. Once I scraped off the white frosting, the cinnamon rolls themselves were pretty good. Warm them in an oven and add butter to improve the flavor. I will never buy them again.
The “cream cheese” frosting does NOT taste like cream cheese nor does it have the texture of any cream cheese frosting I've made or tasted. It is primarily overly sweet. The cinnamon rolls were fresh but the frosting ruined them. Next time I'll buy Sister Schubert's frozen. They're better AND cheaper. Marketside's are NOT worth the $7 price.
I don't know why but the texture of the pastry, if you can call it that, and the flavor just sort of through me off. Other than it having cinnamon and a type of frosting I don't even want to compare this to cinnamon rolls. Its more like the ugly 2 day old cousin to the school breakfast cinnamon tastrys from years ago. (Okay not ugly. 5 out of 5 on looks alone.... but the taste.... I don't know... 2out of 5) I wouldn't eat it again if I had to choose. But if I'm at your grandmother's house and she hands me this like "you hungry baby?" I'll swallow it down with some black tea.
I was so beyond excited for these after reading a lot of the reviews after Walmart got rid of the Neufchâtel cinnamon rolls (those were delicious). These new ones were nice and soft, HOWEVER, the icing is just CHEAP powdered sugar with water. If you love cinnamon or a cinnamon roll with good flavors, SKIP THIS ONE.
