if you like baklava half as much as I do you would be insane not to purchase this I purchased some on temu that was one quarter as good and four times as expensive so if I do my math right that makes this 16 times better. lol excellent product for the money you cannot do any better anywhere else trust me I would know

SOOO Good!

TallOak September 11, 2025

I have been eating baklava my entire life and have ordered from many different companies and many different stores-some live up to what baklava is and should be and others do not. This market side baklava is simply delicious and a fantastic value for money to boot. How or why this product has such negative reviews is beyond me. I encourage people to try it and leave good feedback because those of us that do LOVe it would like to be able to continue to find it. I think it is delicious and hope more folks will give it a chance. Also…Baklava is meant to be sweet. Not all types are super sweet but this exact type of baklava is sweet, rich, sticky and crunchy. Perfection.

Baklava dream

Sherry December 20, 2025

I'm used to live in Ct where these types of authentic foods were readily available everywhere. I miss it and I was craving baklava for Christmas. Took a chance to see if Walmart had any and to my surprise they did and it was delicious! I would recommend anyone who wants their baklava hit to try Walmart's. 🩷

Dry as a desert

Barbarbarb November 22, 2025

I've bought this in previous years and it was always relatively decent. Nowhere near as good as homemade by a little old Greek lady which is what I used to get. I don't know whats up with the one I got this year but it's so dry. I ended up rerurning it to the store.

Just Ok

Amy December 6, 2025

For Walmart Baklava its ok, would I buy it again probably not. For Baklava it is very, very dry, not enough honey, it was lacking in the cashews and pistachios it was more Phyllo dough then anything.

This batch was dry for some reason, no sugar syrup at all. I guess this batch didn't get coated during manufacturing because I've had this product before and it was very good.

Thank you Walmart for your support on my refund

Anonymous December 9, 2025

I love baklava. The 2 main ingredient (besides the filo dough) are pistachio and honey. if both were included is was so small amount I couldn't taste it. the couple of whole nut were hard and tasteless. when I took a bite it was just like a big mush pile of syrupy sugar. THE GOOD NEWS: I put in a request for a refund based on poor quality and Walmart refunded my $$ which I just put on my Walmart account because I order stuff almost everyday. Thank you walmart for standing by your quality promise!!!

I had picked a different Baklava tray as my substitute. They were out of my first choice and didn't even bother to give me the substitute I had picked!! Just said “Unavailable.” This happens a lot and really makes me mad!

This is the WORST baklava I've ever had and being Greek, I've had a LOT of baklava. This product isn't fresh, has an off-putting taste and texture and tastes stale. NEVER again!! If I could, I'd give it a zero star rating.
