Absolutely delicious seasoned very well and very tasty to me. I air fried them. I have t used my oven in a yr. My air fryer is heaven on earth. Saves a lot of time. And no worries and it cuts off when timer is finished. No fishy smell. The size proportions is large. Cooking time ten minutes and the texture is wonderful and skinless.
I am so impressed with this Marketside Blackened Atlantic Salmon. This product is an absolute staple in my freezer now, and it completely lives up to its promise. Let's start with the most important part: it is incredibly tasty. The blackened seasoning is perfect—it has a fantastic kick of spice without being overpowering, with notes of paprika, garlic, and thyme. It’s savory, smoky, and expertly balanced so it doesn't drown out the natural, rich flavor of the high-quality Atlantic salmon. The fish itself is always moist and flaky when cooked. But the best part? It is unbelievably easy to cook. I’m a busy parent, and this has become my secret weapon for a healthy, impressive meal in under 20 minutes. You can also bake or pan-sear it with the same fantastic results. It takes all the guesswork out of cooking fish. This salmon is versatile, too. I've served it over a bed of rice with a squeeze of lemon, flaked it into tacos, and even chopped it up for a next-level salad. Every time, my family thinks I spent hours in the kitchen. For the price, you simply cannot beat the convenience and flavor. It feels like a gourmet meal without the gourmet effort or cost. If you're looking for a quick, delicious, and healthy protein option, do yourself a favor and grab a bag (or two!) of this salmon. Highly, highly recommend!
Fantastic flavor as is. No need to do anything except thaw, cook and eat! Filets are a generous portion, maybe 6oz each. Smells delicious while cooking and finished filets present beautifully. Fast, easy preparation with oven or air fryer. A decent price for a healthy convenience meal when compared to dining out.
I really enjoyed this salmon flavor . The price was higher than I anticipated . There were three reasonable portion sizes for a 1lb bag. They could put four pieces for almost $13.00 dollars. Perhaps I was paying for the seasoning.
Very good flavor. Cooked in air fryer according to instructions. Package servings are measured by weight... Servings are technically 3 pieces, not four.
The flavor is great (I like spicy food) but I’m giving it 3 stars because there’s no indication anywhere that this is spicy. It’s not just mildly spicy—it’s enough that even people who usually handle spice well might struggle. I prepared dinner and I was the only one who could eat it. I’d call it medium heat, definitely not kid-friendly. If I had served this at family function I don’t think a lot of people would have tolerated it. The packaging doesn’t mention hot spices/cayenne pepper at all, and the ingredients just say “spices,” which isn’t helpful. The heat level is definitely high enough to be advertised. Customers should be warned before buying.
Salmon had a good flavor but it states on the package that there are 4 servings per package and there were only 3. Kinda tough to purchase something to cook for a family of four when you start cooking only to discover there is only enough for 3. As usual, mom sacrifices because it’s more important to feed her children.
It may end up tasting fine, but I bought it to be four 4-oz. servings, as it was listed. I open the bag, and out come three individually-wrapped portions of (what I assume is) 5-6 ounces each. It’s hard to plan portion control for a diet when your portions don’t come out the way they’re listed online or on the packaging.
Pan seared this and it immediately tanked the air quality so bad we could not stop coughing and sneezing, this sure is black, black like your darn lungs after trying to make this. Overspiced, way too much seasoning, it just tastes like stinging. I feel like my lungs are full of pepper now.
I splurged on this purchase. it was delivered in a tied bag with a loaf of bread. It was thawed before I could put the bread away and discovered the package also contained fish. Who would pack frozen fish in a bag with a fresh loaf of bread? poor training!!
