Consistently meets expectations. Great value. Our family's favorite bread. Versatility is great - we use it for sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, garlic bread, buttered toast, etc. we haven't found a use for it that doesn't work. It's soft, dense, and always delicious!
These buns are so great with burgers I mentally cannot wrap my head around putting anything else but a burger in them! When we first started buying them I would do the whole butter the inside and toast them in a pan before putting a burger in them which is really great but not toasted is just as good! I think the only thing I would change with these is the packaging and while I understand the packaging they used serves its purpose and I have yet to catch these buns being anything less than moist and soft opening the package and not being able to shut it without digging some sort of a clip out of a drawer is a little bit of a pain but not a big enough pain for us not to have bought these every other week for the last 6 months. These are a must if you want to make a good brioche bun Pub Burger.
Enjoy these with cold cuts, egg or tuna salad, hamburgers. They are a nice size; not oversized. Their texture is soft; won't fill you up as heavier buns will. Their taste doesn't compete with the filling. Lesser priced buns are more filling and heavy.
I usually buy these to go along with the Jennie O turkey burgers I make. I like to bake up a batch of burgers in the oven. Then we eat some for dinner and I wrap up the rest and put them in the fridge so we can get another lunch or quick dinner out of them during the week. These brioche buns are equally good toasted or straight out of the package. I've used them for deli meat sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches and Pb%26J's. They are just nice, simple, soft brioche buns.
These are my favorite burger buns. They are a good texture: firm enough not to fall apart but not hard nor difficult to chew. And they have a long shelf life if purchased fresh. I can use them over the course of a few weeks in a two-person household without them going moldy in the bag. A real win not to waste food and money.
Taste is great. Light and airy. Does have additives but this does keep it fresh. Tried saving money by buying other buns such as Natures Own Brioche buns. Problem is they just don't compare so i end up throwing them away and it defeats me trying to save money.
We always get a pack of these for burger night. There is nothing better than a burger on a brioche bun. They're a little pricey but it's worth it and much better than the cheaper burger buns.
These are the absolute best buns! They are soft yet firm at the same time…won't fall apart and the taste is (to me) beyond compare! I toast mine in the toaster…yummy!! You need to try these and the same holds true on the same style of hot dog buns
I've tried a lot of store-bought burger buns, and the Marketside brioche-style hamburger buns from Walmart are honestly one of the better options for the price. The first thing you notice is how soft and pillowy they are—they have that classic brioche texture that feels a step above regular hamburger buns. They're slightly sweet with a light buttery flavor, which pairs really well with burgers, chicken sandwiches, or even breakfast sandwiches. What I like most is how they elevate a basic meal. Even a simple homemade burger feels more “restaurant-style” when you use these. They're pre-sliced and ready to use, which makes things convenient, and they hold together fairly well without falling apart right away. That said, they're not perfect. Because they're so soft, they can get a little squishy if you load them up with a lot of juicy toppings or sauces. Toasting them lightly makes a big difference—it adds structure and brings out more of that buttery flavor. Also, if you're not into sweeter buns, these might not be your favorite since brioche naturally leans that way. Overall, for the price and convenience, these are a great go-to option. They're soft, flavorful, and a nice upgrade from standard buns. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking to make their burgers or sandwiches feel a little more special without spending a lot.
I have never and will never order these overpriced equivalents to regular great value hamburger buns. Every time I try to order bread with fewer ingredients I get this instead as a substitution. I have never and will never consider this to be worth the price of the cheapest overly sweet hamburger buns. Be impressed with "brioche" if you want but quit expecting me to want it when I never order it.
