I’m really happy with these Marketside Broccoli Florets. The bag is the perfect size for a quick side dish, and the broccoli actually stays crisp and fresh, which isn't always the case with pre-cut veggies. I love that I can just steam them right in the bag or toss them into a stir-fry without having to deal with the mess of chopping a whole head. It’s a huge time-saver for busy weeknights, and the quality is consistently great!
Very fresh! I was using frozen to feed my turtle. He LOVES this fresh product. Pieces are just the right size, consistently. Color is such a bright green. He can hear it when I toss into his cage!
Buying fresh veg from my Walmart is always a crapshoot -- snow peas, broccoli, asparagus, scallions, you never know, sometimes, it's mushy garbage that is past its best by date, and sometimes it's mushy garbage BEFORE its best by date, and other times, it arrives a week before its best by date, and it's fresh and crisp, like it was this time. I used this in a shrimp stir fry and it was perfect. And if it doesn't show up the way it should, Walmart makes it easy to get your money back without an argument. It would be nice to get it right every time, but in case you hadn't noticed, people today aren't too upset about not getting things right these days, so points to Walmart on accountability and making you whole again.
Broccoli is one of the few vegetables that I like the ones in this bag or perfec broccoli is one of the few vegetables that I like the ones in this bag are perfect. Sometimes the frozen ones have too many pieces and I'm perfect. Sometimes the frozen ones have too many pieces in them. .
I ordered this item and was pleased with some of the florets in the bag. However, I noticed on receipt of the item that it wasn't as fresh as I'd hoped it would be. The florets were already turning yellow in the bag, and the bottoms of the stems were slightly discolored. All in all, I would reorder this item with the proviso that it be fresher. I understand that stores need to keep items on the shelves and in stock longer than ever before to maximize profits, but, please, not at my expense. At this time in our economy, most of us can't afford to throw away food or money.
Somewhat pricey for what you get. It's much more affordable to buy a crown and cut it up yourself in minutes. The end of the stalks on most were dry and you have to trim them anyway, so save yourself some money and buy crowns because this really isn't a time saver. Flavor-wise, they were just fine.
Pictures taken on 5/25/26. I've bought this bag of broccoli several times. I buy it like this so I'm not getting charged for the large chunk of stem by weight when buying the entire head of broccoli. Every time I buy it, it's bad before the best by date. Usually by a few days so we rush to cook it. This time it was molded 5 days prior to that date and only two days after purchasing.. pretty consistent with all produce at Walmart anymore.
The three-piece bistro set arrived damaged after at least three people had put their eyes on it. It was very clearly damaged with a large hole in the front of the package. That hole was exposing a damaged piece of the actual merchandise inside. Though the delivery came direct through the store, I had to call three different numbers to get the problem sorted out. I received the items within a half hour but it took two hours just to get it solved. The store cannot talk to the spark delivery people, they cannot replace anything one for one. It has to be refunded and reordered. I am DISABLED and cannot move the item myself or I would have gone to get it myself and picked out the damaged item. I have spent over $1500 at this same store through the online portal over the past month and could not get any assistance to my liking. On top of all the frustration, no delivery fee waived, no compensation given, no one there would put a manager on the phone. The people at the store were nice but helpless because it was delivered by "spark" and no customer knows what that means. This was insanely frustrating. I should be getting something back for this. I am not a complainer but the absolutely stupidity that I just dealt with is crazy. Listen to the recording, look at the attached pictures and LEARN something. Refund my fees at the very least. Tell your managers to get on the phone and give them the power to talk to eachother to get something sorted out. Especially when it comes to disabled people, this unbelievable. Fix it. How could a product this damaged make it to my door step?
Received items that had mold and were rotting. Substitutions were not what I asked for. I didn’t want the replacements and the shopper disregarded what I communicated in the chat. So many items were marked as out of stock. Strawberries were rotting and dripping. Grapefruit had mold on the inside and outside of the box clearly visible to the shopper. I will NEVER use this service and I’m canceling my membership.
This lettuce should have already been taken off the shelf. The lettuce was yellowish and brown. The person who pick this for someone's groceries should be ashame. this is about the lettuce not the broccoli
