The last few bags of the salad that I ordered went bad within one day, even though they had a 4 to 5 day out expiration date there was too much moisture in the bag, and the lettuce was already turning brown when I received it. However, this most recent bag I received Was super fresh was not full of moisture. There was no browning and I actually got to eat three days servings of salad, please keep up the freshness with this product. I promise you the ratings on it will improve.
This is a lovely salad mix when you are looking for fresh, tender greens upon which to build an outstanding salad. The mild flavor doesn't compete with other ingredients. My grandchildren really enjoy this blend. It also works very well on sandwiches. An excellent value for the money.
A good value if you like butter lettuce. However. in spite of the sell by date, some of the lettuce turned brown or mushy pretty quickly, some even before we opened the package. I suggest picking in person in the store; not having associates select the item for curbside pickup by car.
This bag of lettuce is totally brown. I am not able to even salvage part of it. I wish that the people that were picking out your groceries would be more careful or mindful of what they’re putting in your bag. There’s no way they couldn’t have seen that this bag was brown and not fresh looking.
Received 3 days after best by date. About 20% of the lettuce was unusable. Luckily I was able to get my home-care person to run to Von's for a replacement. Was very disappointed -- With my replacement bags, I was able to serve salad to my 10 dinner guests.
of negative stra was possible, that's how I would've rated it. it was just delivered not 30 minutes ago and has a "used by" date of October 8th. I would t eat it now and definitely not in a week. There's not way the shopper didn't notice the brown all over the lettuce.
I used to buy the "bagged butter lettuce" weekly. It was always good and it was fresh tasting but it's been changed to a "butter lettuce blend" recently and it's terrible. Now it's always mushy and not worth buying. Wish they hadn't changed this product. Very disappointing.
I enjoy this type of lettuces but not when it's rotting in the package. I can't understand why it would be chosen to deliver to a customer. More often than not it seems I'm receiving poor quality foods and you requested me to return the product.. it's not my responsibility to do such a thing. I didn't pick it, therefore it should be picked up by Walmart. There's been many times I didn't even request a return. figure something out Walmart I'm tired of my time, money, and expecting a product to be of good quality for same day only ending up aggravated
I keep ordering this and I keep getting bad quality so I'm leaving this review the leaves are soggy and brown even though the expiration date is 4 days out from today I am so disappointed I have only had one good bag overall the times I've ordered this and it's the same with all the bag lettuce and now even the lettuce in the bowls I don't know but maybe it could be their refrigeration or whatever isn't working properly some of the bags look like they were previously frozen I end up throwing them all out but I did keep trying to no avail so let this be a cautionary tale
awesome when fresh. Last 2 delivery purchases were limp and turning brown. I'm giving a low rating ONLY because Walmart is hanging onto end-of-life lettuce and delivering to online shoppers. Nobody would buy old lettuce like this, so why deliver it to online shoppers?
