Love the chopped version of the Caesar Salad. The black pepper and crushed croutons are key elements. This salad tastes great and is so much neater to eat while engrossed in my favorite murder mystery on TV. 😉 I put a bit of the lettuce aside to add to a couple of burgers since a head of lettuce goes bad before I can eat it all.
This chopped caesar is my absolute favorite salad kit. I have purchased it more times than I can count. The lettuce is always crisp and the crunchy crouton crumbles are my absolute favorite. The dressing is flavorful with good balance. Add chicken or salmon for a complete meal. I can't recommend this enough!
Why is it that whoever works/picks the order at the store level always seems to pick the lettuce that isn’t fresh and kind of brown at the bottom of the bag. I don’t like to complain, but the ones that fulfill the order at the store level need to get retrained. It’s not the drivers fault And I don’t like eating brown lettuce. Come on
I always order at least two or three of these salads. One of them is usually good and one or two are usually brown and or wilted or slimy. I don’t understand how two salads purchased the same day in the same packaging with the same expiration date can be so different. The first two photo show the brown lettuce. The third photo shows the bag of lettuce that is in perfect condition. The fourth shows the two salad side-by-side, and the last photo is both salads with the expiration date the same. I understand lettuce goes bad – I partially blame the Walmart shopper that thinks it’s OK to give consumers brown lettuce.
The lettuces has a lot of brown spots on it which tells me not to buy it. The people that shops for you when you order a delivery should noticed these things and set it aside so noone else gets it by mistake. So I'll be returning it as soon as possible.
I buy this product often but for some reason the quality has been poor the past two pickups. The date on the packaging is good but the product appears past its expiration in appearance. I typically enjoy the salad kits and for some reason there seems to be a quality issue with Caesar variety as it hasn’t happened with any others.
Had done a delivery order and received all of the produce that should have been thrown out the day before at the latest. Brown salad, bananas that looked like they were jumped on, everything was awful. I had put in for a refund request, total of $13 and was messaged I would have to return them to the store. Not only was it a paid delivery, tipped the driver, but for some reason I would have to go into a store, stand in line for an unknown amount of time to return something I should have never gotten in the first place. Since I had already thrown the money away on the purchase, tipping on top of the delivery fee, I figured a $13 reason to never buy groceries here again was more value than the time it would take to continue the battle of the livestock grade produce received. It doesn't matter to Walmart but hopefully saves you a headache when you think you are going to save some time.
Product was rotten before I even had the chance to eat it, even before the expiration date. Everytime I get a bagged salad from Walmart, either this brand or any other, it's half rotten or only lasts a few days. I'd avoid this unless you eat is right away...
Every single time I order this product for delivery, the quality is very poor. The lettuce is always old and brown, and I do mean every time. It’s like the person fulfilling the order doesn’t even check, or especially shows no consideration for providing fresh products to customers. Furthermore, the thought that a fresh product of this quality is available in stores is appalling.
The product is great when I shop at the store, but the salad kits I received on September 10th EXPIRE on September 12th. I ordered 6 salad kits for meal prep for the week. Buying produce through this online shopping service does not work for families because the salad kits are old and about to expire, the roma tomatoes are soft and soggy, the avocados are old and can't be eaten. It's just better to go to the store myself for produce because everything I receive is old or about to expire. Which really defeats the purpose of paying for an online grocery delivery service.
