My family loves salads....so these pre-made salad kits are perfect for us. They give you everything you need in one bag for a fantastic tasting salad with ALL the trimmings. If you had to buy everything to make this same salad it would cost a lot more and some of it may go to waste. These salad kits are great and there are so many varieties to choose from.
Always nice and fresh . The perfect portion ; the kit has everything needed for convenience; dressing , cheese and croutons . My new favorite go to snack or meal . Just add grilled or baked chicken breast to enhance the entire meal . It goes a long way !!
Marketside freshness crisp %26 clean with the inclusion of the best tasting dressing is a chef’s kiss. 💋 Although for seniors like myself it’s increasingly becoming unaffordable due to most of us being relatively retired on a fixed budget. Might be time to look elsewhere for the Next best option. I will let you know when I find it. Not many farmers markets here in my town yet. Keep raising those prices and you’ll find out where seniors live and obtain their fresh produce chemical free and cheaper you might be eating with us!
We got this salad kit with the lasagna and Texas garlic bread bundle that is $14 on Walmart app and it's a great bundle. I've never had their bag salad before with their Walmart garlic Texas toast and the Stouffer‘s lasagna. It was amazing combo and it worked well when you have a small family I would say a party of three or a party of two can even work as well because you can have leftovers. We used our Ken's salad dressing to make it more creamy. Not saying Walmarts Caesar dressing was bad we just like Ken's a lot better but my brother did have it with just the Walmart Caesar salad dressing and he said it was 10 out of 10. We bought extra Parmesan cheese so we can add it to the salad, but that was also Walmart's Parmesan cheese. Great with the bundle. It's really good on a rainy day: comforting meal! I would recommend this even if you're just getting the salad alone.
I bought this bags because it included everything to make a Caesar salad. However, the bag contained mostly romaine lettuce spines (the hard middle part of the leaf) so by the time you remove those, you do not have much lettuce left. Second thing is, if you buy this bag you had better eat it right way because by day three the lettuce has wilted and turned yellow and mushy. The rest of the kit, croutons and dressing were OK. Will not recommend, nor will I buy it again! It is to expensive for it to contain so many spines and it does not last long.
Majority of the time I do not buy salad/lettuce or produce in general at Walmart. It always looks old. This was a necessary online shop and deliver and the shopper did not care what the quality of the bag they chose looked like. Almost every piece had rust or was mushy. It went straight in the garbage.
Twice now I have ordered this salad mix and the lettuce was brown. According to the package the product was well with in date. I was counting on having the salad for that night ‘s dinner when it was delivered, I am disappointed in the lack of freshness. The salad was not edible,
I was issued a refund but the loint of the matter is sometimes I can't shop when I get off work cause I have little time to get my kids from daycare so I place and order via Walmart but come on now you guys need people whom care to not give people items they wouldn't each themselves (Or would they)
Every time I've ordered and Picked up, it is always brown and wilted. Disgusting. I have vowed to no longer get my produce from Walmart. I will spend the extra money to buy FRESH produce rather than getting what has been sitting on the shelf for a week and expires 3 days after I purchase.
Brown and Unacceptable for a Same-Day Pickup I placed this Walmart pickup order today, August 23, and this is the Caesar salad that was selected for me. The package says best if used by August 27, yet the lettuce is already noticeably brown and discolored. I don't understand how an employee could look at this salad and think it was acceptable to give to a customer, especially when they are personally selecting the groceries for a pickup order. I expect the same basic care I would use if I were choosing the item myself. This salad should have been passed over for one that actually looked fresh. Very disappointing and completely unappetizing.
