If you’re looking for a salad like the ones at a steak house or even at an Italian restaurant but don’t have the money to fork over, this salad is the best one I have tried from Walmart. It reminds me of the chicken Caesar salad that used to be available in the deli with the other made foods. It was the best when you mix it all together and let it sit for about 30 minutes and I added grilled chicken to it. The only thing I would suggest is buy a market fresh Caesar salad dressing for more dressing for the salad if you add grilled chicken or if you just like a lot of dressing. I had to put it up and out of reach from my kids because they were really adamant on eating it before dinner it smells so good and tastes great. Depending on the size of the family and whether they like salad or not, I will now be buying two of the family salad kits because everyone loved it.
I'm a vegetarian so I eat lots of salads :-) and just the convenience of already having the dressing the croutons the cheese even the pepper all individually packed so I can use as much or as little as I want is perfect! the romaine is always fresh and crisp!
I’ve been a salad head from young for four decades, during my one pregnancy an addict like commercial size bowl salad eating with one fork addict. My husband, brother, adult son, mother and me love us a Caesar salad and this family size is the one we get once a week or bi-weekly. It’s not too budget friendly or the healthiest of salads Out there but dang is it delicious. We have with with lunch or dinner or bbq or by itself. Too delicious.
I order at least 2 salad kit bags twice a month, for home delivery. The first bag is always fresh and fabulous. The second bag is usually old and turning pink inside on delivery. This most recent order on October 17th, 2025, was the same, one good bag and one showing dried up ends and pink edges (contamination during handling?). Both had Oct 26, 2025 expiration date. When I opened the second bag, it was so gross, I threw it all away! I took photos! I doubt I will buy any more salad kits. Groceries are already too expensive, by far, and this is simply throwing money away. Makes me wonder what else I should stop buying. Crystal Deering Dean Hammerstroms wife.
Otdered this item on Oct 16th, "Best by" date is the 20th, and it's brown. BROWN. More than once Walmart produce arrives in poor condition. Other products aren't bad, but I would definitely pass on produce from Walmart delivery.
All the lettuce were brown. I don’t even know why Walmart would sell me this item! Ordered this item through pick up and didn’t even see that I got ripped off until I got home with it:
I paid five dollars for this When I opened up the bag today the top part looked nice and green, but all the bottom part was rotten and it says it’s not expired until September 4 this bag was terrible quality they should take this off and not sell it for full price. I would not buy this again.
My daughter ordered me some food on Walmart.com she lives in Florida and she ordered it from my local store and had it delivered to me the salad was all rusty looking and nasty and when I looked through it some of the lettuce even look dirty I was very shocked this is usually a high quality product
This is the second bag in 2 days that at least half the bag is brown or browning! This is ridiculous, especially when I order online and have delivered! ! This has ruined the last 2 dinners because yall can’t do your job and pull bad bags off the shelves!
I ordered a salad mix and the salad bag. The entire thing of lettuce was so brown and disgusting. I couldn’t even serve it. I ended up throwing it all away thank God thank God I could salvage the little package of croutons dressing and Parmesan cheese otherwise it would’ve been a total waste of eight bucks
