Good eggs come from happy chickens. They are organic and from free ranging chickens that are not kept in a tiny cage or crammed in a barn. The chickens are allowed to live their lives with quality food and a better environment for them to live in. I pay more so that they have a better life and the eggs are healthier.

I like these brown eggs. I have stomach problems and got so I couldn't eat eggs at all. My niece told me see had same problem and starting eating brown eggs and she's fine, So I was hopeful when I first tried them and So happy that they work fine for me. Don't know why, but for what ever reason they work!! Now I can enjoy my scrambled eggs, omelets and other egg dishes.

I can't get enough of these eggs. There the best tasting eggs I've found in quite some time. I've been making them scrambled with tomatoes, Velveeta cheese, on toasted hot dog buns, with a dash of onion powder. Very filling and a quick meal on these hot summer days.

These eggs are great however, check that they aren't broken. I've have a half dozen of them broken and agreed to the plastic container which indicates that they've been broken previous to my shipping order. The whites tend to be more watery than other brands.

Marketside Cage-Free large brown eggs have seemed to taste better to me than the standard caged hen white eggs. Maybe it's the idea of a hen being penned up and EVERYthing it does is in that little cage that made me think they were less tasty. Perhaps it was fond memories of getting truly fresh eggs from a chicken farm that were also brown shelled and frequently had double yolks. For a while, I assumed "cage free" meant they were roaming outside, but that is not the case. The term just means they are free to roam in an enclosed barn and can fly, perch and move about. Nutritionally, they are pretty much the same since commercial egg farms feed the same type of food, yielding comparable nutrition results. To me, the brown shells seemed to be harder than thinner white shells and if a piece of brown shell falls into the batter it is easier to spot. Overall, there isn't a lot of difference unless one chooses organic or open range. These Marketside eggs taste good and are usually priced competitively so that's what gets them in my basket.

I just decided to try healthier this time. These were way cheaper than I expected. I did notice that the yolks are consistently smaller than regular eggs and not a rich orange color that I recently had in my buddies home grown eggs. And no rich flavors like my buddies eggs. I will shop around for what I'm missing. Very nice packaging and they look special and clean.

This item is currently on recall do to a salmonella outbreak . ABC News just reported . to follow, I did not order brown eggs , the shopper gave me the wrong item . I have a small child whose favorite food is eggs why is this company selling recalled items ????

I opened up the 18-egg carton and had an egg cracked with chicken poop still on it. I threw it away and fed my family the rest of them. The white part was thin and runny in the pan. We ate it any ways and ended up with tummy aches and sweating for hours as it made us sick. I had these derived and did not pick them out myself in the store. I suggest you picking out your own eggs in the store. I now know you need to put the eggs in water to see if they float or sink. If they float, they are no good. If they sink, they are good to eat.

Either the package is not quality (thin plastic ) 7 of the 18 Marketside Cage Free Large Brown Eggs were cracked. $4.37 was wasted. Or the person that shopped for the eggs mid-handled the eggs. Please make sure to be gentle when handling eggs this was part of a pick up order. So disappointed in the eggs.
