These are great eggs. The price is always competitive and the quality is great. I eat a lot of eggs, and it is probably my imagination, but I think the brown eggs have more white (I am not a fan of yolks). There are so many great ways to enjoy eggs, but my favorite is in brownie mix, lol. A good brownie will call for 3 of them in a 13x9 size and these never fail to impress me.

I can't get enough of these eggs. There the best tasting eggs I've found in quite some time. I've been making them scrambled with tomatoes, Velveeta cheese, on toasted hot dog buns, with a dash of onion powder. Very filling and a quick meal on these hot summer days.

Out of the 10 cartons I've purchased in the past year, only 1 of them contained rotten moldy eggs and it was only a couple of them. Not really sure if that's a good thing since it's never happened to me with any other eggs before, but the quality and production methods of these eggs are supposedly better overall.

Marketside Cage-Free large brown eggs have seemed to taste better to me than the standard caged hen white eggs. Maybe it's the idea of a hen being penned up and EVERYthing it does is in that little cage that made me think they were less tasty. Perhaps it was fond memories of getting truly fresh eggs from a chicken farm that were also brown shelled and frequently had double yolks. For a while, I assumed "cage free" meant they were roaming outside, but that is not the case. The term just means they are free to roam in an enclosed barn and can fly, perch and move about. Nutritionally, they are pretty much the same since commercial egg farms feed the same type of food, yielding comparable nutrition results. To me, the brown shells seemed to be harder than thinner white shells and if a piece of brown shell falls into the batter it is easier to spot. Overall, there isn't a lot of difference unless one chooses organic or open range. These Marketside eggs taste good and are usually priced competitively so that's what gets them in my basket.

This item is currently on recall do to a salmonella outbreak . ABC News just reported . to follow, I did not order brown eggs , the shopper gave me the wrong item . I have a small child whose favorite food is eggs why is this company selling recalled items ????

I opened up the 18-egg carton and had an egg cracked with chicken poop still on it. I threw it away and fed my family the rest of them. The white part was thin and runny in the pan. We ate it any ways and ended up with tummy aches and sweating for hours as it made us sick. I had these derived and did not pick them out myself in the store. I suggest you picking out your own eggs in the store. I now know you need to put the eggs in water to see if they float or sink. If they float, they are no good. If they sink, they are good to eat.

I have never been more disappointed it is evident you are ignoring the word "Large" even though it is in the title. I should not be able to easily hold to "Large" eggs easily in the palm of my hand. Sadly this is the current state of corporate retail when it comes to groceries playing fast and loose with terms like large, thick cut and so on.

So my review is not about the eggs themselves , but is about how the eggs was selected by the Walmart Associate and presented to me as the Customer. All employees should know and be trained that you have to check the eggs especially if you are shopping for others. Out of 18 eggs, 7 were cracked or broken. One even looked like it had a double shell, or it was placed inside of one that was broken . The top and side of the shell was all peeled away and then you saw another fully shelled egg inside. I had to use this egg first, but was a little leary about it. Horrible, just horrible! Walmart please do better and train your associates.

Your supplier is going to need to be careful!! 3 egg orders ago i pulled out an egg that had a baby bird coming out. I grew up on a poultry, pork, and beef farm. It's EXTREMELY difficult to grab a birthing egg by mistake those are the ones that the hen lays and stay sitting on until they hatch!!
