Sometimes I noticed the best by date would be the same as the day I received it or the day after. The lettuce would be mushy and turning brown. But when I ordered it earlier in the day, the best by date would be 4-5 days after the day received and much better quality.

Crunch a healthy lunch

Katrina July 6, 2026

The larger salads are always fresher than the smaller ones, so the price I would say is a little expensive but I will still pay for that because it comes with everything for your dressing maybe eat it as a snack got a nice crunch to it. Add you some cranberries or some nuts and an egg and you all set or just pick you a different salad by Walmart, but I will always say a bigger is better.

I love this. so juicy crispy flavorful and delicious. It is a full meal. I order these a lot. Some times I add a little cottage cheese and more, what ever I have on hand, shredded cheese and /or cut up fruit. That lettus is so crisp and juicy on it's own.

The toppings were scarce compared to the Caesar and Southwest salads of proportionate sizes. The lettuce was in fairly large chunks. It came with unsliced baby tomatoes. To rescue this salad, I cut it up. Then, added a some low salt seasoning. I then added a cinnamon sweetner. Finally, I added low salt fine bread crumbs. The salad was saved. But, I couldn't make it perfect. I recommend adding extra of everything to it.

Good salad except for the tomatoes

anonymous June 16, 2026

The salad itself is very good and fresh. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the tomatoes weren't quite as fresh. They had kind of a bad taste to them and weren't quite as red on the inside. I ended up throwing them out. Other than that the salad is a great addition as a side to a meal or simply by itself. The lettuce and carrots are crunchy and the ranch dressing packet is very good. I added extra ranch to mine and some chopped onion for the perfect lunchtime meal.

too many hard stems from the lettuce in these salads, I have to pick them out for both me and my husband, I have tooth issues and my husband has dentures! Me with a cracked molar, I can't eat crunchy foods anymore! I have to get a couple extra bags of lettuce because after I get through picking the stems out, there's no lettuce left in these pre-made salads! I've decided it's overall easier, more convenient and time saving for me to buy lettuce and all the ingredients separately and make the salads myself!

Rotted Lettuce

CritterGitter July 16, 2025

The Lettuce was Brown and wilted looking.. i usually have to pick through and get the hard core pieces of Lettuce out of the salad and have never complained. Today however the Core chunks were Brown and the Green was wilted. I add other tbings to the salad myself, i.e. cucumber, onion, bell pepper and more shredded cheese. For the cost i shouldn't have to add ingredients and i shouldn't have rotten Lettuce..

Another ugly salad

Sadie74 June 14, 2025

This salad lettuce is rusty brown and ugly looking. I've had mixed results ordering it in the past but thought I would try again. I order online and this was not something I would have picked had I been in the store. The people picking these orders need to be trained not to pick questionable items.

Lettuce was bad. I have Walmart delivery.

AnnMarie June 14, 2026

Salad had red and brown stuff all over the iceberg lettuce. Only the green leaf lettuce was good. The cherry tomatoes were also bad. I had a Walmart delivery near 9pm 6/13/26 and I went to return this salad and another the day after they were delivered, as I didn't look at them closely the night before and we were having them for lunch on the 14th. Walmart wanted me to bring them back to the store for a refund. I'm disabled and live over 20 min from the store. They wanted it returned by the end of day on the 14th for a refund. I'm very disappointed in how they handled this, and the quality of the salads.
