I've tried every one of these salads and like each variety. They are good, cheap, healthy and a generous size. I mix the salad dressing with the the lettuce before adding the toppings so it's good to the bottom of the bowl. I eat one of these a couple of times a week!
I generally purchase these salads for my aunts! They are of an advanced age and it's difficult for them to prepare some of their favorite things. They've always loved fresh salads and I want them to continue to eat healthy and make it convenient for them to enjoy!
the salad is good but it expired the next day I got it. they need to check the dates more often, especially when people rely on doing on line pick up or delivery (handicap reasoning). this happens quite often sadly when the expiration date is the next day or maybe 2 days after pickup/delivery.
The iceberg lettuce is always crisp, and delicious. The turkey and ham can be inconsistent in amounts. The Swiss cheese is very in flavor. As the meats this can be inconsistent in amount packaged. I don’t use the ranch dressing that is included. Strict dieting has taught me to eat salad without dressing. It’s crisp, fresh, delicious, and affordable. (Walmart has the best prices on salad bowls! This is a complete meal! I am appreciative of the inclusion of a fork.
These salads are delicious and a very easy go to for those needing a quick and easy meal. However, the expiration dates on these salads are only for about 2 days after the purchase date.i have to order my groceries to be delivered because I am handicapped. So I don’t get to pick the expiration dates. Anything you can do to insure fresher salads especially those that are being delivered would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work! I love my grocery delivery!
It would be better if they would've put a tomato in there. The meat was kind of slimy and the cheese cheese didn't have no taste and there's not enough lettuce. This one needs a total rework power it would be better if they would've put a tomato in there. The meat was kind of slimy and the cheese cheese didn't have no taste and there's not enough lettuce. This one needs a total rework ! Buyer bye beware !
Usually, this a perfectly fine salad. However, lately, I’ve noticed far too many bitter stem parts of the lettuce. I have taken to going through the lettuce before I do anything else to make sure the wilted pieces and stem pieces are removed. Sometimes I’ll lose as much as 1/3 of the total lettuce.
ordered two of the same salad both dated expiration January 15th and today is January 11th. one of them appears to be completely spoiled and the lettuce is translucent and gooey. the other one that lettuce is starting to turn brown. pictures attached from today's order. some days the salad quality is really good and I get 7 days to use it before it expires and other days I get one day to use it and it's completely spoiled I can't figure it out why I continue to receive poor quality.
Unlike its picture, it was a bowl of large chunks of iceberg lettuce with a few slivers if ham, turkey, and one sliver of cheese at the bottom. And when i say slivers, i mean something the size of a paper matchstick. The entire meat and cheese portion would have fit in the bowl of a soup spoon. It was gawd-awful.
The lettuce was rotting so I had to throw it away. I'm very disappointed in Walmart return services for curbside pickup. There is no reason to make people come back to the store and physically return a damaged or rotting product that was selected by one of your employees. You need to fix this process.
