I love the taste of this Marketside soup along with a couple of others. As a matter of fact, I was in the hospital for four days recently and, given that our hospital has a wonderful food service, I was tickled to find this soup on the menu. It is very popular.
This is easily my favorite chicken noodle soup. It has a really nice depth of flavor that tastes homemade, not bland like some others. The ratio of chicken, vegetables, and broth is just right, so every bite feels balanced and filling. It's comforting, flavorful, and perfect when you want something warm and satisfying.
In a pinch or desperate for soup, then I guess this works. It is mostly broth, lacks that home cooked soup flavor, and definitely could use more noodles and meat. If you like carrots, you will get plenty. The price is insanely high for a soup you could make for much cheaper. Again, of you can't make your own, this is better than canned soups with all their toxins and sodium.
It was kind of weird tasting! I like the noodles and the carrots, but the overall flavor of the broth was not appealing. The chicken at least was chicken that I appreciate sometimes chicken noodle soup. The chicken is questionable. This chicken was obviously grilled chicken and I'll give them point points for that.
This soup used to be fantastic. Latest, the quality has gone down, finding chicken skin and bones and the vegetable, noodle, chicken content has decreased significantly for some reason over the past 6 months or so
The taste was good. it was nice and brothy but there were barely any noodles. barely any vegetables and only one little tiny chunk of chicken in the whole 32 oz serving that I bought. the rest was broth. now. broth is good but I'm not going to pay deli prices for broth. I could just open up a can and heat it up
The limited amount of chicken in this soup was tough and dry. The noodles were not appealing to me and there was too much celery. The broth was delicious and I wanted to love the soup because I was sick with the flu and needed warm and comforting nourishment. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this soup which was disappointing considering I bought 2 containers of it.
I was so excited to try this and it was a huge let down. It had a weird funky taste to it. I ordered a small soup to be delivered but they only had a big one so that's $6 wasted. I literally took two bites and regretted both. The only reason I took two was to double check my tastebuds. I'm not sure who gave this good reviews but they must have broken tastebuds.
This was the worst "deli style" prepared Chicken Soup I have ever eaten. There is no flavor, it actually tasted "off" and the chicken looked like tiny little scraps off of the bone...not "true" chicken. I would never purchase again nor ever recommend this item. HORRIBLE.
Taste is awful, taste like mostly onion with a hint of chicken broth. Not much bits of chicken in it. I would never by this again not even if I were sick. I'd buy a can chicken noodle soup or broth. I can't believe Walmart would produce this product. No salt taste at all and so much onion taste. I love onions, but it I wanted an onion soup . I would have ordered a French onion soup not chicken noodle.
