Delicious! So fresh. I purchased this salad July 30. Expiration date: August 6. Great tasting lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, and huge, sliced radishes. All pre-washed. The Italian dressing was good. I didn't try the croutons yet. Very fair price for what you get in the package. I will definitely purchase this item again in the future.
Always on the verge of going bad you need to pick through some of the lettuce to cut off the ends that are browning. I understand that it’s pieces of other product that cannot be used, but it shouldn’t look like this and be so close to the end of its life.
When does it really hard to pick up good bag lettuce but a lot of the lettuce in the bag was brown. Should be OK if it were eaten quickly but usually I’d like to keep them in the refrigerator two or three days so they need to be as fresh as possible.
It's a good tasting salad. The dressing is quite delicious. However, many times I would receive a batch that is past expiration even though the use-by date is good. So, it's hit or miss with this product. They need better quality control. That's why I don't recommend.
i only have it 2 starts instead of 1 because it was fresh, not brown, and it had a good amount in the bag. the quality of the cut was terrible; there were several giant chunks of solid lettuce just tossed in. and the first bag i bought had no radishes at all!! that's just not right. the second bag there was only 1 piece of radish in the whole bag!! now it's just a LIE at this point. i suggest walmart take radish off the ingrediant list, and lower the price. problem solved 😒. the quality of food has been going down down down we are almost at rock bottom. at this rate with the prices i might as well shop at Publix and atleast get what i pay for
I've purchased this salad many times for delivery from Latrobe Walmart. It has been rotten every single time. You can salvage the dressing and croutons but will have nothing to put them on. It's virtually impossible to get fresh produce items or meat.
Ordered on 7 Oct, item expiration date was 8 Oct, but the lettuce had already begun to turn brown - not just a few pieces, but all of it was drying out, browning out. Think it started fresh, but was allowed to heat up, probably on an unrefrigerated shelf. Too late to eat, good enough for fertilizer in the garden!
Do NOT order this for delivery. Drivers do not handle it well and item is not kept to temp. Driver made 2 other stops before I got it! It was warm when I received it and now it’s brown lettuce and it doesn’t expire until July 12th but it’s unedible!
Recd on 8/23. Bag dated 8/26. Opened on 8/24. lettuce mostly brown. i will not order again. Last couple of times I got bags of Marketside also alot of terrible lettuce. I dont usually complain, but salad is on my menu everyday. Very disappointed several times so letting you know.ty for listening.
we had a delivery. I am not blaming the driver/shopper. I'm 100% blaming Wal-Mart for even allowing a soggy salad kit to even be out to buy. Guess we aren't having a salad with our dinner tonight. The whole bag has water in it and the lettuce is soft and soggy, so gross. Thanks for wasting more of my money Wal-Mart, do better!
