I enjoy the salads, but I wish that when you pick them out because I buy several that they wouldn't all be good until the same day. It's kind of hard to eat all of them in one day so I would like them to be separated out for a few days at least thank you.
I have my groceries delivered. It's not like you picking yourself. Sometimes I receive bowl with some brown lettuce or one day left "sell by date". But overall good salad. Each time I place my order, I order two bowls plus a small bag of mixed lettuce. Yes, I'm salad lover. Wish Walmart would sell Doles bag salad. Doles is the best.
Stays fresh a lot longer than bagged lettuce. Wish I could get the market side dressing I would buy it separately if it was available. If I could improve it, it would be to add more quantity to the toppings. I dump mine in a bowl and add more protein and black olives.
If you get them and instantly eat, the can be good. If you try and buy a couple for lunches, the salad on day 2 or 3 is digusting. even though the package was unopened. Some salads within that first day even thoguh the date is pretty far out wilt almost immediately.
Every time I have a salad as part of my delivery order I get one like this. I’m not sure if it poor picking standards or someone that doesn’t know how to pack. It honestly looks like it may have been placed next to some thing frozen. In the garbage it goes.Use before date is still good, but can’t take the chance.
i used to love these salads but they always come with the plastic top puffed up. not fresh. and when i do get them fresh they go bad fast. when they are freh they are wonderful. love them but ive come to only buy one at a time so i dont waste time or money. unsure if iw ill continue to purchase these due the fact of not seeing improvement in the item.
For me it took 1 bad purchase of this particular salad with Turkey, to say Nope! Awe you should have seen it( I mean I did have it delivered) so, I don’t know. I thought that my personal shopper would have seen that the salad was wilted and the Turkey meat was close to dying its’ second death! It was bad! But Walmart as cool as they are refunded me…However I will forever be haunted by the sight of that wilted 2X Dead Turkey meat ( Poor Fella) 🤮
everytime I order one, and I order different ones. THE LETTUCE IS ALWAYS BROWN. There is not much in the bowls anymore, and its pathetic that the lettuce is brown and using the white part of the lettuce. I have asked for a refund, but I am NOT, NOT COMING BACK TO THE STORE FOR A REFUND.
Ordered two for delivery both came with spoiled brown lettuce even though they were not past expiration date one was visibly opened . Walmart requires you to bring back salads for returns but I’m not keeping rotting food around for 2 dollars. Don’t waste your money unless you are picking out yourself if store.
I ordered three salads in my last pick up order – two of them had an expiration date of the next day and the lettuce was brown and disgusting. One of them was actually OK and tasted good. I have since re-bought these in the store when I could pick my own freshness level and they were much better. I would just caution against getting it for delivery or pick up because I believe the shoppers must be trained to take the ones with the closest expiration date first.
