This product was not too sweet, but perfect. The croissants were not as soft as they should be, but this is perfect for breakfast with coffee. These items are priced too high, but they stay sold out for a good reason. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!! I have been waiting to buy more since the last purchase, but they are sold out AGAIN. I'm sad.
This is Walmart's very well executed version of a french pastry "Kouign-amann" (pronounced queen-a-man) with the addition of a cream cheese center. It MUST go in the airfryer or at least warmed up in the oven. I put my airfryer on 350 for 2 min and just pop one in during the preheat phase (immediately) so I don't have to think about it. I think the amount of cream cheese filling is good, maybe a little light but over all, I'm very very happy to see it in the Walmart bakery. It hits that morning craving for a fancy french pastry but HEAT IT UP so it gets crunch/crispy!
This kind were our the first time trying croissant muffins and my husband and I love them. We now order a pack, every time we make an order when they are in stock. They have a good texture, and great filling. If filling could be a little more distributed thru out the whole muffin, that's all that would make them better.
This pastry did have the buttery taste of a croissant, but the dollop of cream cheese whip in the center is a bit too sweet. Should taste cream-cheesy, not so sugary. Where the whole thing goes wrong is texture. You don't get the light, flaky, tender, butteriness of a croissant, and it definitely isn't the cakey texture of a muffin. Instead you get a dense, tough, twisted lump of dry something.... Sits on your stomach like a rock. Croissant dough is not meant to be pressed and smashed into a mass. It defies the whole idea of croissant!
Very expensive plain croissant! Expected a cheese croissant as titled. However no exaggeration: 1 tsp. of cheese filling on top middle of the fairly decent croissant... Just another rip off , wouldn't recommend unless you just buy croissants, would be couple dollars less...
Started buying this item because the one we normally buy is on the grocery section but never available. The item was dry and tasteless. We couldn't tell if there was a paper cupcake liner on it or it was just so dry. Will not be buying this item again.
Delivered on 2-18 however, the sticker for freshness was until 6 days away. Item tasted stale very chewy and had almost no filling. What a shame. Six days until the sell by. … and it should have been soft, not chewy and had a lot more cheese filling.
I did not order these they substituted with this and it was the most nasty idk why to even call this other than waste of money. I am so mad they chose to change raspberry danish for this tasteless nothing even in it (shoes cream cheese but trust me there is none but a dot of that like thy just wiped the nozzle on it and called it a day . Just bread. That's all it is. Expensive nasty bread I was stuck with because I could not take it back. If I ever see this sold or ever again I rue the day… pass it up an don't support this over priced price of nasty tasting bread that they stick you with when you wanted something tasty and yummy. I give the picker 37475758 thumbs down for ever THINKING this was a substitute for anything other than foot fungus fixer . Js it's not good at all
These cream cheese croissant muffins looked yummy; HOWEVER, that's very deceiving! due to the lack of cream cheese filling. We were looking so forward to having these with our brunch but wow, I was embarrassed to serve them. Not to mention, they were very dry %26 supposedly in date! :(
These look beautiful to the eye.....but I got ONE bite from each one and the rest was thrown in the trash! The way these were filled with cream cheese was ridiculous! only enough for ONE BITE for a bite of pastry 😞 EXTREMELY DISATISFIED WITH THIS ITEM! IF I WANTED A DRY PASTRY SHELL, THAT'S WHAT I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED! THIS ITEM NEEDS 3XMORE CREAM CHEESE FILLING TO BE EDIBLE, LET ALONE TO JUSTIFY THE COST! SORRY! I DIDN'T WASTE MY TIME TAKING PHOTOS CONSIDERING I ONLY GOT 4 BITES!
