Marketside Cream Cheese Danish Baked Pastry, 9.6 oz, 4 Count

Years ago, when I lived in a different area, I would buy cream cheese croissants at the Price Cutter grocery store. I don’t think I have ever seen them any where else. I saw these and even though they are not croissants, the pastry looked similar to croissant pastry, so I decided to try them. Oh my yes, these taste pretty much exactly as I remember those cream cheese croissants tasting all those years ago. I don’t buy them often because they are a bit pricey for my budget.

I was hesitant biased on the reviews to try these but I am glad I did. These are delicious. Pastry is a nice texture and the filling is delicious and is a good amount. Great paired with coffee or hot tea. I do microwave for about 10-15 seconds just because I like them warm. I do wish there were more flavors like cherry cheeses or blueberry cheese.

If you like starbucks cream cheese Danish these are almost identical at 1/4 of the price. They are a tad less sweet and softer. If you heat these up in a toaster oven and let cool to warm they are much better so they get a little crispy around the edges and bottom. These are great with coffee and milk. Very light and do not sit heavy or have any greasy taste. Slight vanilla flavor in the cheese filling.

These are perfect for breakfast. what i love to do is heat one up in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 340°F once i get it out of the air fryer i put a little bit of melted butter on the edges of the pastry. i also pair it with a small bowl of Greek Gods honey vanilla yogurt. if you're feeling like being extra fancy and sweet, i dust both the yogurt and the danish with cinnamon sugar.

I bought these because a review mentioned they tasted similar to Starbucks, but that’s definitely not true. They’re kind of gross, it has a weird artificial vanilla and lemon flavor, while being too sweet and not tart enough like most cheese danishes. Not great.

I read all of the reviews which gave this five stars. Im giving 2 because there's no frosting, hardly any cream cheese and justreally plain! Just mostly bread! Don't recommend, at least it was fresh. Walmart needs to step up their game! I threw out the majority of it!

I was really excited to try these and thought they would taste like Starbucks. They have no flavor. I tried heating them and it made it taste worse. It was a soggy mess. I took a couple bites and threw away. I gave them to my parents to try. Wouldn’t buy again.

The pastry, although you could taste the butter, was quite dense, and almost rubbery. The filling was almost none existent. Over all, a very un-enjoyable experience. I ate half of one, threw the other half out, and will probably end up throwing the other three out to the wild animals. Do not waste your money. In all honesty, the taste was there, but the whole was very rubbery, disappointing, and off-putting. A complete waste of money.

The pastries had mold all over the backs of them. (Cream cheese Danish). Sadly, I had already eaten some before I noticed. The sell by date was good but the product was not fit to eat. Also, the bottom of the inside of the plastic container that they were packaged in looks dirty. Please inspect these before you consume them! Or just avoid them.

They tasted like just plain bread and nothing special. If I was starving I would eat them again but I wouldn’t buy them again. The filling was good but there was hardly any. They didn’t stay good very long. I ate one the first day and the next day they were covered in fuzzy green mold.
