Marketside Cream Cheese Danish with Glaze, 7 oz, 2 Count (Shelf Stable)

I got these one time by accident and now I include them with every order! They are delicious! Always fresh, dough is soft and the cream cheese middle isn't too sweet, it is a perfect treat, for breakfast or just a snack. I almost didn't want to review them because I don't want them to be sold out haha

These looked good online so I thought why not give them a shot. Well not the worst, the cheese is nice when you get to it. The pastery on the other hand is heavy when it should be light, the dusting of sugar and cinnamon adds the only flavor until you get to the cheese. That silver dollar size dollip of cheese is lovely, but chewing through thick pastery just put me off.

This item is not always available. But when it is, it's very good quality at a very good price. I don't often eat treats or items of the sort but whenever they're available, I get these. I found this pastry to be a little dry. The taste was …OK, but not great! I like something simple for breakfast, and was hoping this would fit the bill. But it just wasn't for me. If you don't mind a dry flaky dish, you might really like this one. Just not great for me.

Good cinnamony danish. It is a dense Danish not a light and flakey one. This is not a criticism just an individual preference. I personally prefer my Danish a little dense. My only knock is the picture is deceptive. It needs more cheese. The cheese is only about the size of a half dollar not 3/4 of the Danish as shown. Other than that I did enjoy them.

More breading that was harder than the normal crossaint/Danish texture options including same brand but other available options similar category. Also very little amount of filling right in the center so tasteless outter edges. Overall it personally seemed like a donut sized attempt at a breakfast or tea time treat that was tasted like it was left on the counter overnight after someone swiped off the majority of the 'good stuff'. (The portion amount on these to best describe remind me of 2 familiar scenerios;the icing left behind from the corner and side slices of cake after it's all been served or the icing that hardens on the bottom of the donut box that ran off the donuts before hardening. Not even the amount it would take to ice a cupcake.) Go with the other market side options if you don't want to end up either unstatisfied or wasting money on something that you ends up being fed to the birds. 😕JMO

I was extremely disappointed in this product. The pastry had the texture of dried out Play-Doh, and the cream cheese filling was unimpressive. Overall, it was tasteless and a waste of money and calories.

These are not true cheese danish!! What I was hoping for a flaky, buttery, rich and melt in your mouth light pastry with a decadent creamy cheese filling. Turned out to be missing every single preferable-danish-desired- description above. This in reality was a dense, tasteless, undercooked, faintly cinnamon flavored dough, very heavy-chewy disappointment. Any cheese danish I have ever had doesn’t have cinnamon in the dough. I prefer the taste of butter!! Definitely not worth the calories!! I would not repurchase or recommend.

Definitely not what I expected a Danish to be like. It was dense and very chewy rather than light and flaky. It was supposed to have a 'glaze' but, that must have soaked into the pastry. The amount of cream cheese was more like a decoration than an actual filling. I wasn't expecting cinnamon on a cream cheese danish either. This was way more like a cinnamon roll than a Danish in both taste and texture.
